A bad day should get worse for the Los Angeles Clippers, losing Bradley Beal for the season this afternoon, and likely to lose tonight to the Denver Nuggets.

My Nuggets vs. Clippers predictions expect Los Angeles’s losing streak to reach a sixth game on Wednesday, November 12.

Nuggets vs Clippers prediction

Nuggets vs Clippers best bet: Nuggets -3 (-110)

The Denver Nuggets are on the second night of a back-to-back, as the NBA refuses to shorten its schedule to better its product. Fortunately for Denver, its 2025 offseason brought depth to a top-heavy roster.

In last night’s 14-point win at Sacramento, Cam Johnson finished with a +12 in the box score, Bruce Brown played 27 minutes off the bench and scored 14 points, Tim Hardaway Jr. saw 24 minutes of action, and Jonas Valanciunas added 10 points in 15 minutes.

Those are all bench contributions that the Nuggets desperately needed last year. Better late than never, right?

That new depth has sparked an 8-2 outright start to the season, not to mention 7-3 against the spread, including winning four straight games ATS.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers are actively losing depth. Kawhi Leonard is currently sidelined, Bradley Beal's out for the rest of the year due to hip surgery, and Los Angeles is looking at another lost season. Sitting at 3-7 outright only begins to describe how bad this is going for the Clippers.

L.A. is also 1-9 ATS, including losing eight straight ATS. Expect that misery to continue tonight.

Nuggets vs Clippers same-game parlay

The Nuggets have played only one back-to-back so far in this young season, but they went Under the total by 18 points in that moment on Saturday night.

Slowing down the game in a tired moment will impact Ivica Zubac's rebounding only so much. He has cleared this prop in three straight and in six of his last seven games.

Nuggets vs Clippers SGP

  • Nuggets -3
  • Under 224.5
  • Ivica Zubac Over 10.5 rebounds

Our "from downtown" SGP: Joke's on you

Ivica Zubac is likely to spend too much energy trying to slow down Nikola Jokic to clear this somewhat elevated prop.

It may be a back-to-back for Jokic, but he continues to be one of the best-conditioned players in the NBA, and he should tax his defender tonight.

Nuggets vs Clippers SGP

  • Nuggets -3
  • Under 224.5
  • Ivica Zubac Over 10.5 rebounds
  • Ivica Zubac Under 16.5 points

Nuggets vs Clippers odds

  • Spread: Nuggets -3 (-110) | Clippers +3 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Nuggets -155 | Clippers +130
  • Over/Under: Over 224.5 (-110) | Under 224.5 (-110)

Douglas Farmer spends his days thinking about college football and his nights thinking about the NBA. His betting habits and coverage follow that same pattern. He covered Notre Dame football for various outlets from 2008 to 2024, most notably spending eight seasons as NBC Sports’ beat writer on the Irish. That was also when his gambling focus took off. Knowing there were veteran beat writers with three decades more experience than he had, Douglas found his niche by best recognizing Notre Dame’s standing in each year’s national landscape, a complex tapestry most easily understood and remembered via betting odds.

In 2021, that interest created a freelance opportunity with Covers, a role that eventually led to Douglas joining the company full-time in 2023. In the fall, Douglas will place five or six dozen bets each week, a disproportionate amount via BetRivers because the operator tends to have lines slightly different than the rest of the market. The same can be said of Circa Sports’ futures markets.

While Douglas is an avid NBA fan and covers the league throughout the year, the vast majority of his bets are on college football, because that is the biggest key to sports betting: Know what you do not know.
