That's how we feel at the start of this week as we bet against one of the worst teams in the MLB: the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Today’s MLB props and picks
Bryan Reynolds Over 1.5 hits (+115)
The Pirates have been the worst hitting team in the majors, but don't blame outfielders Bryan Reynolds and Adam Frazier, who are having banner seasons.
Reynolds is batting .312 with 13 home runs, 20 doubles, and 44 RBI. The switch-hitter has been on fire lately, batting .444 in his last 11 games with eight multiple-hit contests during that span.
This afternoon, Reynolds and the Bucs get a tasty matchup at Coors Field against the Rockies and struggling starter Kyle Freeland. The lefty has a 7.76 ERA, 1.99 WHIP, and an opponent batting average of .369 in six starts this season.
With Reynolds feasting on southpaws to the tune of a .354 batting average and 1.009 OPS, and getting to play in the most hitter-friendly park in the majors, take the Over 1.5 on his hits total today.
Wade Miley Under 2.5 Earned Runs (-115)
The Cincinnati Reds host the Philadelphia Phillies as -153 home favorites today. The Reds will give the ball to veteran lefty Wade Miley, who is 6-4 with a 2.85 ERA and 1.06 WHIP.
Miley has pitched to a 1.96 ERA over his last six starts and he has been a model of consistency all year, allowing two earned runs or fewer in 11 of 13 starts.
The Phillies have struggled to hit on the road this season, plating 3.90 runs per game with an OPS of .677 in away contests. They've also had a tough time consistently generating offense over the last couple of weeks, being held to three runs or fewer in nine of their last 12 games.
Expect Miley to come in like a wrecking ball and take the Under on his earned runs total tonight.
4.5 Innings Line St. Louis -0.5 (+120)
The Arizona Diamondbacks have just one win in their last 26 games on the road and enter tonight's contest in St. Louis as +148 underdogs.
The D-Backs will send the vastly inexperienced Jake Faria to the mound. Faria was released by the pitcher-needy Angels less than two weeks ago after pitching to a 5.65 ERA for the Triple-A Salt Lake Bees.
Arizona signed Faria on June 19 and he has made three appearances out of the bullpen, surrendering three runs across four innings. He likely won't log too many innings, so he'll likely soon give way to one of the majors' worst bullpens. Diamondbacks relievers have pitched to an MLB-worst opponent batting average of .279 while ranking second-worst with a 1.52 WHIP.
Arizona has also been absolutely brutal when it comes to hitting on the road, ranking 26th in the majors with an OPS of .651 and plating just 1.88 runs per game through the first five innings. The Cardinals haven't played well lately but they should be able to take care of business at Busch Stadium, where they are 5-2 in their last seven games.
With how abysmal the Diamondbacks have been, they should be an instant fade on the road, and it's just a matter of seeing where the best bang for your buck lies on the prop odds board. Today, we think it's with backing the Cards to have a lead midway through the contest.
