The Baltimore Orioles will be looking to bounce back tonight from a brutal 11-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday.

My Orioles vs Rays predictions will focus on Zack Littell, who I’m expecting to continue his recent success on the hill.

Orioles vs Rays prediction

My Orioles vs Rays best bet: Zack Littell Under 2.5 earned runs (-105 at BET99)

Zack Littell has been one of the Tampa Bay Rays' best starters this season. He’s gone 8-7 with a 3.56 ERA in 19 starts. While Littell has had trouble with the home run, overall, the right-hander is relatively consistent and puts his best foot forward every fifth day.

The 29-year-old has cashed the Under in earned runs surrendered in three of his last four appearances, and he faced the Baltimore Orioles in late June, giving up just one earned run across seven impressive frames.

While Littell’s last three starts have been on the road, he’s hit the Under in earned runs allowed in three of his previous four outings at home. Baltimore’s lineup has struggled all year long and he’s already enjoyed success against them.

The O’s are batting just .248 across 129 at-bats versus Littell and scored just one run in the series opener. Littell will keep them at bay in this matchup.

Orioles vs Rays same-game parlay (SGP)

Zack Littell Under 2.5 earned runs

Yandy Diaz Over 1.5 total bases

Junior Caminero Over 0.5 RBIs

The Tampa Bay offense broke out on Friday, and Yandy Diaz was at the forefront. He finished the day 3 for 4 with a grand slam. The veteran has swung it well all season long, batting .290 with 15 home runs and 57 RBIs. He’s hitting .288 in July as well.

Diaz has cashed the Over in total bases in back-to-back contests. While he’s just 2 for 20 lifetime against Orioles starter Dean Kremer, the right-hander is far from consistent. I could see Diaz continuing his hot streak once again here.

Junior Caminero just lost to Cal Raleigh in the final of the Home Run Derby and showed the baseball world why he’s such a special talent. The youngster began the second half with a bang as well, going 3-for-5 on Friday with two homers and four RBIs.

He’s cashed the Over in RBIs in four of his last seven appearances. Caminero will be feeling uber confident tonight after such a massive performance. He happens to be 3 for 4 lifetime against Kremer with an RBI as well.
