HR picks for June 28

Alejandro Kirk (+550 at DraftKings)

Alejandro Kirk has been one of the Toronto Blue Jays’ best hitters over the last few seasons, and 2025 is no different. The Tijuana, Mexico native is batting .316 with seven home runs and 39 RBIs so far. While he’s not a big-time power hitter, Kirk does have pop in his bat.

Tonight, Toronto faces the Boston Red Sox, who send Lucas Giolito to the mound. The right-hander has struggled against Kirk, who is 5-for-14 lifetime with four home runs. Kirk has had nothing but success versus Giolito.

The catcher was 2-for-4 on Friday against the Sox with a double, and he’s smacked four long balls in June already. Kirk has a four-game hitting streak at the moment, and he’s hitting .331 on the road. Don’t be surprised if he puts one over the Green Monster.

Marcell Ozuna (+425 at DraftKings)

The Atlanta Braves’ offense isn’t exactly flourishing, with struggles up and down their lineup. Marcell Ozuna isn’t having the best campaign either, hitting .247 with 11 home runs and 40 RBIs. The veteran has just two bombs in the month of June, but there’s reason to believe he could go deep tonight against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Jesus Luzardo is on the hill versus Atlanta, and Ozuna is 5 for 13 lifetime against him with a home run. Ozuna has only two homers off lefties this season, but he’s batting .269 vs southpaws. Ozuna does play better at home, though, hitting nearly .300 with six long balls. Atlanta hosts Philly here after a 13-0 loss on Friday.

Ozuna could find the bleachers in this one.

Aaron Judge (+105 at DraftKings)

Save the best for last, right? Aaron Judge continues to show why he’s likely going to win AL MVP again. The slugger is hitting .358 with 28 home runs and 63 RBIs. He has seven long balls in June, but he’s also batting just .256 this month.

Judge will like today’s matchup, however. The New York Yankees face the Athletics, who hand JP Sears the baseball. He’s allowed three homers in his last two starts and Judge has destroyed Sears. The outfielder is 3 for 8 lifetime with a pair of bombs.

Judge swings it very well against left-handed hurlers, going deep 10 times while hitting .355. He’s already smacked two home runs against the Athletics this season as well. Lastly, Judge has 13 homers in the Bronx and the Yanks host the A’s here.
