Both teams are in tough spots pitching-wise, leading to some value in the player prop market for three specific hitters in this Sunday Night Baseball matchup.

Dodgers vs Yankees player prop picks

Mookie Betts Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-135)

Elmer Rodriguez is expected to see the mound for several innings after being called up as the 27th man on the New York Yankees' roster.

He's been quite ineffective with a 5.86 xERA and -1.3% K-BB%. Naturally, I'm looking to attack him with player prop Overs for Los Angeles Dodgers players.

Rodriguez has severe reverse splits (.350/.409/.450), and the same can be said for Mookie Betts, whose wRC+ is 51 spots higher against right-handed pitchers than left-handed ones.

The diminutive shortstop should see a high percentage of sinkers since Rodriguez pumps them 55% of the time to right-handed hitters. Mookie demolishes that offering (133 wRC+), so he forecasts to do some damage on Sunday Night Baseball.

Paul Goldschmidt To Record an RBI (+185)

The Dodgers are in a similar spot pitching-wise, as Dave Roberts will opt for a bullpen game in the back half of a doubleheader. Their relievers have a 4.90 FIP in July that hardly inspires confidence in a gem.

Landon Knack (5.31 career FIP) likely sees bulk innings. He, too, has reverse splits (.263/.324/.561), paving the lane for right-handed Yankee bats to have a successful day at the office.

Paul Goldschmidt rested in Game 1 and will be ready to unleash in the back half. He turns into a man possessed on the road (151 wRC+), and sets up perfectly against Knack's two-pitch mix of four-seamers (251 wRC+) and sliders (130 wRC+).

Ben Rice Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-120)

You know who else transforms into a pitch-destroying monster on the road? Ben Rice, whose 162 wRC+ in away games ranks fourth among hitters.

After regressing in June (.196 AVG), he's regained his form in spectacular fashion this month (.372/.481/.860). He's collected a hit in eight consecutive contests, and L.A.'s underperforming bullpen shows little sign of slowing him down.

There's hitter-friendly weather in Chavez Ravine with temps in the upper 70s and mild wind blowing out to right field.  Rice has eclipsed this number in six of his last seven, so I'm riding the hot hand.
