Dodgers vs Mariners best bet: Josh Naylor Over 0.5 hits (-170)
The Seattle Mariners added both Eugenio Suarez and Josh Naylor from the Diamondbacks at the trade deadline, and it’s paid off as they won the AL West for the first time since 2001.
The move to Seattle lit a fire under Naylor. The first baseman hit .292 with an .807 OPS and 11 home runs in 93 games in Arizona, and now has nine home runs with a .297 average and .829 OPS in Seattle.
Emmet Sheehan has pitched well recently, but the Los Angeles Dodgers shouldn’t let him go too long with the playoffs around the corner.
Naylor did have a bit of a slow start in Seattle, seeing his average drop to .282 on August 20, but he’s 37 for 108 (.343) since then with a hit in 25 of those 30 games. He’s currently riding an 11-game hitting streak, batting .429 (18 for 42) in that span.
Dodgers vs Mariners same-game parlay (SGP)
Emmet Sheehan has been racking up the strikeouts for over a month now, with 55 punchouts in 42.1 innings across his last seven games (six starts). He had at least six strikeouts in each of those appearances, including 10, 7, and 9 in his previous three games.
