Lefty Matthew Liberatore gets the call for the Cardinals, and he’s won back-to-back starts. He scattered six hits across seven innings last time out, giving up just two earned runs and striking out five in an 8-2 win over the Cubs.
The Guardians, meanwhile, still hold down second in the AL Central, but they're 10.5 games back of the Tigers after dropping four of their last five. They've lost six of the last eight series overall.
