Blake Snell wasn't at his best in the NLDS against the Atlanta Braves, but he still allowed just one earned run despite issuing five walks. I'm focusing more on how he finished the regular season, because Snell was lights-out.
The southpaw posted a 1.39 FIP over his final five starts while not allowing a home run. Snell also owned a 1.72 FIP at Dodger Stadium in 2026. The Milwaukee Brewers were substantially worse against lefties, posting a 97 wRC+ compared to 112 against right-handers.
As for Robert Gasser, he didn't look great in his lone postseason outing against the San Diego Padres, and the left-hander has been enduring some trouble with this Los Angeles Dodgers lineup. In a limited 48 at-bat sample, Los Angeles is hitting .312 against him.

Brewers vs Dodgers home run prediction: Freddie Freeman

I'm targeting Freddie Freeman to lift off in Game 3. The slugger has been consistently squaring up the ball in the playoffs despite batting just .227. He owns a 68.4% hard-hit rate and 26.3% barrel rate in October, while already going deep twice in six games.
It's an incredibly small sample, but Freeman is also 2-for-2 lifetime against Gasser with a pair of doubles, showing he's at least been seeing the left-hander well in their limited meetings.
Freeman's 47.4% fly-ball rate in the postseason is another promising sign. With that combination of hard contact and consistent lift, he only needs to punish one mistake tonight to go yard.
Brewers vs Dodgers player prop: William Contreras Over 1.5 total bases

William Contreras has been the Brew Crew's best hitter in the playoffs. He's batting .391 with a .391 ISO and three home runs in six games. Contreras powered Milwaukee to a 2-0 series lead in Game 2, going 3-for-4 with a bomb.
The catcher has now cleared this total-bases number in three of his last four contests, and he also posted a 108 wRC+ against left-handed pitching during the regular season. Snell obviously presents a difficult matchup, but Contreras has shown he can still produce against southpaws.
With a .783 SLG and 60% hard-hit rate in the playoffs, Contreras makes the contact quality to produce another multi-base night in Game 3.
