The Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers will meet for the second of a three-game set this evening.

The Brewers took the first game last night in comfortable fashion and, with their ace on the mound tonight, look poised to make it two straight.

Read all about it in my Brewers vs. Cubs predictions and MLB picks for Tuesday, May 19.

Who will win Brewers vs Cubs today: Brewers moneyline (-115)

If you haven't heard, this Jacob Misiorowski guy is pretty good. His May has been spotless, allowing zero runs over three starts, and his 99th percentile K rate and whiff rate should have some success here.

Collectively, the Chicago Cubs don't strikeout a ton, but you can quiet the big bats like Ian Happ, Pete Crow-Armstrong, and Seiya Suzuki, who all have over a 25% K rate.

On the other side, the Milwaukee Brewers23% whiff rate and 26% chase rate are a problem for Ben Brown, who needs hitters to expand the zone to play. I'd play this to -130.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Misiorowski's breaking ball run value sits in the 100th percentile this season, a big reason his slider and curve have helped support that elite strikeout profile

Brewers vs Cubs Over/Under pick: Under 7.5 (+100)

Two starters with sub-2.50 expected ERAs walk into two lineups that have different matchup issues.

The Brewers' offense should score because of its patient approach, but it can still struggle from time to time because it relies on stringing hits together. Brown, who is likely a quasi-opener, going three to four innings, should have some success against that with a rested bullpen behind.

Meanwhile, Misiorowski should do Miz things with a 92nd percentile barrel suppression rate among other elite metrics. I projected exactly 7 runs.
