Blue Jays Picks, Predictions & Best Bets for ALDS Game 4 on October 8

No one is doubting Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s bat right now, and while we're not betting on him drilling a home run in a fourth straight game against the Yankees, we do like his RBI potential in a pivotal Game 4.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has recorded at least one RBI in five straight outings against the New York Yankees, and I expect him to continue that trend tonight in a favorable pitching matchup on Wednesday, October 8.

Find out why I’m betting the over once again with my free Toronto Blue Jays predictions and MLB picks for this pivotal Game 4 ALDS clash.

Blue Jays ALDS Game 4 best bet: Big Bad Vlad

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 0.5 RBI (+170 at BET99)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. continues to mash against the New York Yankees, and I expect his bat to stay hot in a win-and-advance Game 4.

The Toronto Blue Jays slugger has homered in each game so far in this series, batting .615 with a 1.908 OPS and eight RBI, cashing the Over in all three games.

Yet, somehow, Guerrero is still paying +170 to record a single RBI tonight. That’s tremendous value for someone swinging as hot a bat as anyone on planet earth.

Furthermore, Vladdy is 4-for-5 against Yankees starter Cam Schlittler in the two starts the rookie has had against Toronto.

The Jays as a whole have hit Schlittler well, with the current lineup owning a .435 average and a .954 OPS against him, while he owns an 8.10 ERA in those two outings.

If the Jays continue putting together strong at-bats and get on base, there’s a good chance Vladdy can bring them home.

Additionally, Guerrero has been a beast at Yankee Stadium, sporting a career 1.002 OPS in New York, averaging 2.43 total bases per game.

Today’s Blue Jays Game 4 same-game parlay (SGP)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 0.5 RBI

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 total bases

Daulton Varsho Over 0.5 hits

For the second leg of the SGP, I’ll continue to pound the Guerrero market and take the Over of his 1.5 total bases prop. He’s hit the over in each playoff game in this series, and has also cleared the number in eight straight games against the Yankees.

For the final leg, I’ll take Daulton Varsho to record a hit. He’s 1-for-1 in his lone at-bat against Schlittler and has recorded a hit in all three games so far in this series, and is hitting .350 over his last 10 games, with an 80% hit rate on the Over.
