Blue Jays ALCS Game 5 best bet: Vladdy's Bat Stays Hot

Pick (+105 at BET99)

The Toronto Blue Jays bats have come alive in Seattle, scoring 21 runs over the last two games.

A big reason for the turnaround is that their superstar slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is hitting and leading the charge.

Guerrero Jr. has homered in back-to-back games and is 6-for-9 with four extra base hits over his last two outings, cashing the over on his bases prop in both games.

I expect his bat to remain red hot today and go Over his 1.5 posted base total again, especially in a favorable pitching matchup.

Bryce Miller may've quieted the Jays in Game 1 of this series, but he’s been far from a lights out pitcher this season and in his second turn in the rotation, the Jays should be able to adapt.

Miller owns a 5.68 ERA this season, giving up a lot of hard contact. He ranks in the second percentile in hard hit rate, and has the highest opponent average exit velocity in the majors.

That has culminated in 40 extra base hits allowed in 18 games this season, including 13 home runs over his last 11 games since returning from a midseason injury.

With the way Vladdy is swinging the stick, he should be able to put bat-to-ball and let it fly tonight to give him a sixth multi-hit game this postseason.

Additionally, Guerrero Jr. is averaging four bases per game throughout the playoffs. Getting plus money to cover the 1.5 posted total is just great value.

Today’s Blue Jays Game 5 same-game parlay (SGP)

George Springer Over 1.5 bases

George Springer Over 0.5 runs

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 total bases

I'll continue to bet on the Jays bats and take George Springer to go Over 1.5 total bases. He homered off Miller in game one and has cashed this bet with an extra-base hit in five straight games.

This has also resulted in him scoring a run in five straight games, and nine times overall in eight postseason outings. I’ll make Over 0.5 runs the final leg of my SGP.
