In April, DAZN and ADI Predictstreet announced their initial partnership. The companies now plan to expand that relationship into a sports-focused prediction market offering.
DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev said, “Prediction markets are becoming one of the most exciting and rapidly growing forms of digital fan engagement. This exclusive partnership combines ADI Predictstreet’s innovative regulated platform with DAZN’s global reach, premium rights and direct relationship with sports fans in more than 200 markets.”
Segev added, “Together we have the opportunity to create an entirely new way for fans to participate in the sporting moments they care about most. The United States will be a major focus, and we intend to launch there as soon as the required regulatory framework and licenses are in place.”
DAZN is a global sports entertainment platform, reaching over 200 countries and territories worldwide. It’s one of Europe’s largest sports streaming providers with more than 75 programming rights, including soccer, boxing, NFL, and NHL, and other global sporting events.
This month, DAZN launched its online sportsbook and casino in Ontario. DAZN Bet is also authorized to launch in Alberta. DAZN also has a partnership with prediction markets provider Polymarket, whose data is integrated into DAZN's live broadcasts.
Meanwhile, ADI Predictstreet is the World Cup’s official prediction market partner with offerings in 23 states through a partnership with Fanatics and is featured on DAZN’s livestreams. The prediction market provider also has a multiyear sponsorship deal with FIFA. ADI Predictstreet operates on ADI Chain, which the company describes as secure, scalable, and compliance-ready blockchain infrastructure.
ADI Predictstreet CEO Dimitrious Psarrakis said, “Prediction markets capture what fans truly believe and there is no more powerful or immediate source of collective conviction than live sport. Our partnership with FIFA gives ADI Predictstreet a unique position at the heart of the world’s biggest sports event. By partnering exclusively with DAZN, we can now combine that position with the reach and engagement of the world’s leading global sports platform. Our shared ambition is clear: to build the leading regulated sports prediction market experience globally with the United States at the centre of our long-term strategy.”
The partnership comes as prediction market news increasingly focuses on the industry's expansion into sports and the growing competition among operators. DAZN brings a global sports audience and extensive media rights to the arrangement, while ADI Predictstreet contributes its technology and regulatory infrastructure.
