There was a martingale system used by axium sports, not sure if they are still around though. They started with $1000.00 just like you, but they would bank $2000 as soon as his bankroll reached $3000, and start back again at $1000.
The system was pretty simple:
Multiply your initial bankroll of 1000.00 by .0129
1) 12.90 Every time you lose a play multiply your bet amount
2) 27.09 by 2.1
3) 56.88 Every time you win, multiply your new bankroll
4) 119.46 by .0129
5) 250.88
6) 526.84

They use to release about two to three plays a day, their plays were picked so that one game would end before the next one began, thus putting your readjusted bankroll in play for the next game. It took a lot of discipline though. I never actually did it, too many soccer plays in the morning. Some of the members said that it took about one a half months to reach $3000 before they reset their bankroll to $1000.

The reason for no picks on Thursday is because there were really only 4 plays in MLB, NBA, and NHL to choose from and I did not like any of them. In ALL sports I only play the ML or Pointspread. I do not do O/U's. (Man has to know his limitations - per Clint Eastwood). I also only play ML where the line is -140 or less.
95% of the time I will have a play every day.

Thank you for the information. This information proves something to me also. At the start of April I made some adjustments to my handicapping and per your information I see that the adjustments are working out just fine. (April-May record 20-12).

I like to stay with ONE play a day. It makes handling the bankroll ALOT easier. Those 0-2 or 0-3 days can kill you.

Yeah, wc, I remember this one, or actually one very similar. It was the first chase system I ever tried. You neede 77 units, and in the system I used, you only bet on dogs of +140 or less, any sport. I made money on it but stopped using it once I came to realize how often a 6-game losing streak(especially with dogs) can happen. You need a large BR for these kinds of systems, or you need to bet a minimum unit size.
