Just saw this thread and like the info. was wondering if you could please post the way you go about your picks again and the rules, also where and what rankings your using. i got a little confused reading the thread. thanks i also sent you a friend request

TOR seems like the pick here, but Niemann is a very good SP with much better home splits.  Romero may handle Crawford & Pena, but he's still gotta worry about Longoria, Upton, Zobrist...  I see this game going either way.

The pitching matchup in the WAS/LAD game should be enough to avoid the Nats.  Craig Stammen sucks...Kemp, Ethier, Furcal, Loney, Martin do not.  I just think there are much better options.

I like OAK, don't like NYY (do like the under though).

Stammen's last start was very impressive.  Maybe the best of his young career so far.  After an early bump, he settled in to pitch 8 innings of 5-hit ball and he had a sinker/splitter that was baffling the Rockies.  I look for more of the same today and I think the price is worthy of consideration.

My goal is to average 1 play per day (6 or 7 plays per week)

There will be days I won't bet at all if I don't like any of the games. There will be days I may like 2 games. Most of the time, I will pick 1 game for the day

The goal is to achieve a high winning percentage. The only way it can be done is by focusing on the best games on the board.

Great call yesterday nabil !!!

tonight A's are in a good position with +5 PR

Twins also but carefull its blackburn against hochevar so i am away about this game.

look at yankees with + 3.1 PR and also red sox with + 3.0 PR

In conclusion A's seems to be a good play for tonight

I am allergic to the Yankees, bud

That is one team I will not mess with even if you offered to pay for the bet

Great baseball team but way too unpredictable for my taste.

Too much for my cholesterol to handle

6 singles, 5 ER, 4 BB, 3 IP by an ordinarily reliable Oakland bullpen...can't predict that, especially against a weak offense like CLE.  I underestimated Carmona though - he pitched well.  No free passes.

Oh well...let's hope Phoenix pulls out this 4th quarter and even out my afternoon.

Yep, I'm kicking myself because I loved the Yanks again, but got burned on them yesterday. Took the fucking Oakland game instead.....  Shit.

did you backtest this with the current rankings or have you been following this all along with current rankings as those series started?

How many of those series did the team the system would have picked win at least one game in the series. looks line all except mil/PIT???

Minn +9.3 - Slowey/Bannister

NYY +4.6 - Vazquez/Kazmir

CWS +4.4 - Danks/Vargas

Tor +3.7 - Morrow/Price

Bos +3.6 - Wakefield/Hernandez


Based on the pitching matchups, I'd say the best choices seem like MIN or CWS.  I'd lean CWS - it's easier to pull a home sweep & MIN may sit Mauer for a day game after an extra inning night game.  Danks has been great so far, and Seattle hasn't had much success against lefties.

I like Minnesota a lot. They dominate KC and their pitching matchup appears to be the best of the 3 games in this series

Let's see what happens.

Nabil I do like MIN too, but if I am to pick a "top play" it's Danks & CWS.  I'm gonna play both though.
