Im taking golden state +7.5. the nuggets are a really good team but its the playoffs and if curry can continue to make it rain from behind the ark this should be a close win for the nuggets. the betting public likes the over and if they r wrong it will be close game. 102-99 nuggets.

Exactly. This is the playoffs when away team will try to steal one. The home team knows it and because of Curry the Nuggets won't take chances keeping the game close. I also know the problems of altitude will influence relatively older Warriors and their legs will be heavy because of lack of regular oxygen. Every now and then the renegade handicapper can hit  - but that does not prove that spring is here. The Nuggets will go far this season and in the beginning of it they were among top 3 to make it all the way to the finals. They are stronger and in the first playoff game that counts. 7.5 points is not too many

Those are the playoffs and the games are being played in absolutely a different mind set. The coaches are roaming the locker rooms emphasizing the importance of defensive effort since unles you're OKC or Miami - the games are won from defensive ends. Incidentally - Miami has one of the better defenses as well and we'll be that in fourth quarter when they'll be choking the offenses of opposition. I can say that the Bulls can also apply same pressure on defensive end and the Nets too are advocates of long offensive counts.

LA Clippers -5.5

The Clippers are NBA darlings this season and their first playoff game will be well supported by the fans as well as the officials who will dispatch them enough fouls at the beginning to reserve them them the free throws at the end. This time they'll be good at that department as the Grizzlies have players tending to commit lots of physical plays in the paint and the Clips will use that penetrating more than in a regular season. Close game with late outburst by the hosts

rugged played always with much reg and playoff history.
Grizzlies go into playoffs as underated and can slug it out and bang halfcourt with anyone.

Been betting following developing intraday patterns, so far so good, indications lead to the fav covering and game going over.

The 1H over is based on how these teams seem to get around 90 in 1H on their meetings this year and have failed to get there in the 2H.

Over 100 on last two match-ups in 1H and under 80 in 2H
something like 102 and 106 and 76 and 75  the game before that both halves were in the mid 80s-

of course and hedging live.

will note that game totals on those have been close and under- but don't know that a foul game does not start here.
