Clippers second team couldn't beat the Blazers in the second half last night. The Clippers lack an offensive identity now that people have figured out lob city. I think if Kings control the tempo, they will put the Clippers out of their comfort zone. That shouldn't be too hard considering the Clippers are sputtering in to the playoffs.
I know it is rare to go over in what should be a high intensity game. I just see these teams scoring points in this game. I think Lakers are too old and slow to guard all over the perimeter. I think Rockets are too small to guard the inside. Both teams take a lot of shots and are not known for their defenses.
Ask Chris Webber if he thinks the NBA favors the Lakers. If the Lakers lose, it's a headline tomorrow. If they win, it's a headline for longer. I trust the points in the paint and the team that needs the win.

Been riding the Kings all week why stop now. Also a trying to do further testing on lrempel's system.
Rockets simple play for me I booked this anticipating a loss from Utah- this means that this game is meaningless for Lakers but very meaningful for the Rockets if they win they get the 7th spot and face the spurs instead of the thunder, that is huge for them.
As for the over Cliff said it- two teams that will get their points. There is no resting the Lakers, whos going to play the fans?

You know they're not going to let their season end AT HOME with a loss, adding to their long losing streak. The ROY will come with guns blazing in this one.

Aside from the refs being OVER bettors, I believe this game will be a shootout. With curry gunning for an NBA record, and Lillard wanting to end his ROY season with a bang, expect both teams to score at least 103 points easily.

I was just about to take the Lakers -2 when I see the line shifted to LA Lakers +1.5. What happened? A huge shift like that at the last minute is enough to scare me off. Is the thinking that now the Lakers have clinched they'll roll over tonight?
The reason I liked the Lakers is the exact opposite reason of Turbo. I think Houston would rather play OKC than anyone else -- Houston needs to run and play fast to win, and that's exactly what OKC does. It's a much better matchup for them, and I don't think they'll come out with a great effort tonight. #8 suits them just fine.
But if records prove anything, Turbo's probably all over it and I'm all backwards.

The game has to be played we shall see. However Rockets don't want to face OKC for just what you pointed out they like to play fast but the edge in playing fast is to play against a slower team and try and control the tempo- its like going to a race you want the other guy to be slower and you want to play your fast game. Or a boxer that is fast wants someone that is older and slower tire em out and run circles around him and eventually it should fall.
When playing fast OKC v HOU I think the edge is on OKC because of the superior overall talent and it is very tough to play in OKC. They recently destroyed the Lakers there.
