  The way I see it betting is part of the entertainment.  Betting is a way to maximize the viewing enjoyment of the game.  The trill of knowing the outcome when you review as many variables that you feel necessary.  The watch the game for the pleasure and for the measure of how well you can predict the outcome.  Yes I am also a FAN so I limit my betting to only a few games which I can watch on television.  Generally no TV no bet except of those which are critical to a playoff or revenge.  Yes I follow most of your rules but I really get into the games which I have placed a wager on.  So in  summary if you enjoy the game bet on it if you fell comfortable on the outcome and most of all enjoy the game and win money too!

Both of these HOME teams need this win bad... Both of the AWAY teams just want to finish out the season without losing all momentum leading in to the playoffs.  I believe that teams that have clinched need something to play for.  Playing at Home and winning will give the fans something to believe in come playoff time.  Other than the Heat, a clinched team has nothing to play for other than to not lose the edge.

 

I like the over in Boston because I think as teams start to clinch (a la Knicks here), Playoff Implication Under watch has gone over.  I think the lack of KG speeds up the pace a little for the Celtics and takes away a defensive threat to the Knicks.
