is memphis really only giving 3 away to wizards and memphis is the most heavily bet on team per vegasinsider.

hmmmmmm

why only 3? isnt memphis a second tier on the west and have locked up playoff? or is it because gasol is out and john wall been playing lights out?

ideally, i would like a rlm in this position. but i love home dogs.

i liked the wizards at +3.. now that line is moving up i'll take the cover.. feel wizards could win outright here.. as it's been  said before john wall is playing great lately and with no gasol in lineup.. get feeling wizards try to steal one tonight

everyone knows Denver is on a streak, and so does vegas, this line is set i feel a bit too inflated as denver is not a good road team and 7 is a lot of points to cover.. i see the nuggets squeaking this one out in the end take the comfortable home dog.

jazz should kill the sixers, lets be honest, sixers won on the road just last night, i think they'll be ok dropping this one.. and jazz need a win in a bad win.. with their good record at home feel they SHOULD get back on track here. 

feel i got ATLEAST 2 outta 3 here.. my record started 17-25 so turning it around since then and don't wanna look back! good luck to everyone! i wish nothing but success for all

Just something about that post game interview D-Wade had with Lebron James rubbed me the wrong way. Orlando has played Miami tough this season as well. No D-Wade ect.

I live in the DC market and 2 years ago, the Redskins swept the Giants on the road to the Giant Super Bowl? All preseason, the fans were basing their hopes and dreams on that fact as well as RG3 (be real here).  So I applied that to right now in the NBA.  I believe that Teams out of the playoff hunt would play like it's their Super Bowl at home and not care away, but would be happier to party in a different cuty. I looked at every matchup last week between Playoff Teams and Non Playoff Teams. I believe that there are some strong trends... 

  • Playoff Teams at Home won 11 of 12 games and are 8 of 12 ATS.
  • In those 12 games, 9 went Under.
  • Non Playoff Teams at Home only won 4 of 13 contests, but are 7-5-1 ATS
  • The Top 5 Western Conference Teams (all clinched) are 0-3 ATS in that span.
I know this is a small sample size, but I believe a good capper is always basing an educated bet on a small sample size. At the end of the season, teams that have clinched will rest stars.

I like this analysis and this morning I liked Wizz at 2.5 but had a feeling that people would jump on the Grizz wanted to wait a bit more but now is good since I buy this to +7.5. I also like the over in this game but not really sold on it because Gasol takes away defense but he also is a good rebounder and second shot maker. Will def. visit this at the half.

On the Heat I just think the Magic have too many injuries (this was also said before by others) The Heat want to win It's a TV game Monday are usually Unders and the heat won't/should not let the Magic take a huge lead from which they have to come back for and avoid mistakes made last monday in Boston. 97-84 Heat.

Wizards have some serious injuries tonight.

Before the game, Randy Wittman was asked about the health of his roster, and he reported that Bradley Beal, Martell Webster, A.J. Price and Trevor Ariza would all be out for the game. He also noted that Nene would likely be out as well with what was described as "weak"-ness in his knee.

Does that change your analysis or opinion?

That def does change my opinion on the wash game for sure. Maybe just a no play on that game for me.  Don't want to go against Turbovtk right now.  Will play

i knew all those players were out.. doesn't change my opinion too much.. wish i would have waited till it hit +5.5 booked it at +4.5.. BUT line moved accordingly and wizard are still 5-0 SU last 5 games at home.. feel memphis probably wins.. but just feel too many points being laid here..

with that said.. don't blame you guys for staying away.. game clearly has some question marks to it.

If by lighting it up you mean shooting over .500 from fg and 3pt heat and over .415 magic both on fg and 3pt those are a lot of 3pts

It was the right play at least numbers wise- too many fouls and 3s at the end.

They haven't covered in three of their last four games overall with the only exception being last night at home over the league worst Charlotte Bobcats last night. The Nuggets are just 17-19 on the road this season and have no business even being favored by 7 in this one. New Orleans has been pretty hot of late. They have won their last two games over Boston and over Memphis. Also they have had two days of rest since that win over the Grizzlies so they'll be fresh and ready to go tonight. I'm rolling with them NO boys.

3.The Utah Jazz will be motivated for a win tonight as they host the 76ers. Im expecting a blowout victory because of it. The Jazz trail the Lakers by two games for the 8th spot in the West and that means they cant afford to take any nights off. The 76ers are in a complete opposite position and are certainly fatigued as this will be their 4th road game in 6 days out on the West Coast. The Jazz are 24-9 at home and are 13-2 last 15 home games versus the 76ers. I'm rolling with Utah by double digits.
