Took it in the shorts yesterday.

Today  I like the the Miami and Indy game to go under 189. Similar to the Celtics-Thunder game I look for a game that will be played in a playoff atmosphere. Both teams at the top of League in defense and I see a low scoring game. Miami could also blow out Indiana making a statement because of revenge.

I am not convinced about the Lakers covering against a team that is better than the bottom feeders the Lakers blow out. I think the Lakers win a close game and do not cover the 5.5 points. All of the Lakers wins against the playoff bound teams are close or outright losses. Kobe had to have a miracle game to get the Lakers over the hump against Toronto at home???? That does not bode well for the FAKERS to win today by any large margin. I love getting the Bulls here at +5.5.

A line of DAL -7 means we're looking at a predicted score of DAL 104-97 MIN.  Minnesota doesn't have the firepower to hit that number without Love, Pekovic and Kirilenko.  They have been below 97 points in 11 of their last 14 games.  Even last night in a fast-paced game against the Nuggets they couldn't crack 90.  But the Wolves play good defense at home -- 8 of their last 9 opponents have been held to 100 points or fewer in Target Center.  I look for a close game, somewhere in the lower/mid 90s on both sides.
