this thread is awesome everyone.

i would like to contribute as i havnt seen a thread like this since the best mlb/nba bets of the year that covers took down. but this one is way better. i dont know how to be in this contest but ill do my plays and try to help.

Picks:

IND pacers -1.5...Pacers got blown out early last night vs the clippers and gave up 50 points in the paint. but that was due to roy hibbert being suspended because he is a major presence in the paint. especially defensivly where indianna is currently #1. also granger will be playing in his 4th game after his injury and is getting more and more comfortable and it is noticable in the statistics and the visual. indianna almost came back last night in the final minutes which shows they will play the whole game and not lax when down big at the end.  indianna is the better team/defense and rudy happy can not fix all of torontos problems. i expect pacers by 5+

MEM grizzlies +8.5. memphis has the chance to break the longest winning streak in franchis history tonight and break the 2nd longest in miamis history. this game should be alot closer than many people expect and memphis has already proved they can beat miami and now they will have more incentive. i think this becomes a close low scoring game comming down to the wire .

also not sure what the line is but depending on what it is i may play the bobcats. write up later depending on the line i can get. good luck

 Been on covers now since 2001 :) not around alot. Find way to many haters, guys full of garbage, talk of nothing more than nonsense. However Mavin :) I've come across your thread here, and I must say something good going on :) Actually some positive readups on the pics. ( I find sometimes with a writeup you can tell if someone knows anything or if they are a clown) Looks like some good chaps around here :)
 I think I will stick around and see if I can't put forth some insight into games ( when I can) lol. I do have a real job, however alway's striving to beat the books. Hope to have a warm welcome on here, let's team up and crush this garbage :)

The trends all point toward this game going over, but the one thing that you didn't address is that Phoenix is averaging 87 points a game (w/o OT) at home over the last 10 games.  Atlanta's been allowing teams to score approximately 3-4 points above their average on the road trip so far, which means Atlanta will have to score 103-105 points to make the total go over.  If the line reaches 195 I will probably have to jump on the under as Phoenix as the under at home has been very profitable this year so far.  And I will hope for a 194 .
