Put his streak aside and read his words, read between his words and maybe just maybe you may learn something. So if you have a problem with him because he didn't Hedge. Please go create your own hedging thread where you guys can discuss the virtues of hedging.

  If you go by just the numbers these statements aren't true.  Warriors hosted the Heat (#1 team defense), Pacers (#7 team defense), Thunder (#11 team defense), and Rockets (#14 team defense) in the month of January....the Bulls are #15 in statistical team defense.  Bulls have a 16-6 road record but if we look closer who have they really beat?.. Grizzlies? The Clippers back in November? Toronto? i believe my original synopsis was dead on... i wasnt trying to berate brackson at all but i just cannot believe he wouldnt be more patient upon making a pick for 100k... that is life changing money and a once in lifetime opportunity.. the bulls should of never been gettin 9.5.. considering when golden st plays a trash minnesota team and only gives them 15... the bulls are for real whether people doubt them this year.. look for them to make a run to the eastern conference finals against the cavs.....

Ok Mr. Money Manager. The one thing I will say about all the people promoting Hedging is I've never heard any of you guys say that you have $25,$30, $40K in the bank that you have hedged with. LMAO! That's why I say it's a fantasy. It's like believing in the Tooth Fairy. So get back to us when you have actually hedged $25,000 until then GTFOH with that BS Mr. Money Manager.

@Brackson13 - Great work this month... really was something special...  I'm not going to say a lot about your streak because I mirror everything positive anyone has said on here...  really was truly amazing!

What I really want to know is how your meeting went today about drinking that beer at lunch?  I imagine your spirits weren't as high as they could have been and a conversation like that would have put me over the edge!  I stick behind your decision to have a beer at lunch!  But I work in advertising so that's a prerequisite for my line of work!

First of all...I never bashed BRACKSON....So no im NOT a hater

2nd of all..I live in Canada where lottery contest are TAX FREE with no implications on my tax return

3rd..As i told u Ive been in the position with sports betting once where i was able to take advantage of a hedge situation

4th..I told everyone Im NOT A PRO CAPPER AND NEVER said I was..of your picks are better than me than congratulations..sports betting is not my main thing.. So please dont be bashing me that WAS NOT my intent on my posts ..been wishing him well from way back ..NOT just after he lost his pick.

I do have the access and abilility to come up with funds quickly based on my self -employment as a options trader...so everyone has to deal with their own situation.

G Luck in the future to you and Brackson with all future endeavours..

P.S. buy some calls on BABA and GOOGL before earnings this week.

This is a free contest, no real enforcement of any legality if the site went under after wining could be enforced. Can you imagine you hedge then lose, then the site goes under and couldn't pay?  Think about that.

Guess im in the 1% then..but yes that would be bad if the site did not pay him..dont think that will happen tho..seem legit
My hedge situation was different..was the last pick of a sucker parlay..game was on a Monday night and put 5500 on the other side..good thing cus the Lions lost..
Pinnacle sportsbook has high limits and Canadian govt is more lax on offshore gamblin..just sayin.

This is a possibility that I did not consider. Yeah, worse things have happened. Its NOT like buying into a large poker event with a contract that is legally enforceable on US soil, I am thinking. Yeah, fck it, done deal. That was the final nail in that coffin for me. Whatever,....However, He probably should have gotten the $25k that he was owed from Covers...Flown to Vegas...Cashed the check and put the whole thing on the opposite...He comes out with either $50k or $75k guranteed...Whatever again...his decision.................

Anyways...I'm sticking with him for a little while longer...Took Atl tonight....Lets see what happens.

You don't get paid until your streak ends. Now that his streak is over he will get paid 25K.

Ooops...Me thought he already had gotten the $25,000.00....Since all his family and friends know for sure he had the 25k guranteed, they could have chipped up the funds en masse. Jackson seems like a good person and would not dare not to repay his obligation.
