All it took was for Navyvet to get us going and now the Floodgates are open. Brackson13 is the next Capper who is one win away from Thousand Dollar City! Brackson13 went with Washington -4 in a revenge game and now he is on the edge of that magical W17! Let's support my man Brackson13 as he embarks on this epic journey.

Taking new england -6.5. Hoping the weather will make it a ground game, and the pats have exposed indy in that area the last several times they've played. Indy's D was good last week, but still not great against the run. Denver didn't stick with the run, but averaged 4.4 per carry. Playing at home, bad weather, big game, just can't bet against tom and bill.

Haha. Thanks for the well wishes. And yes, i've been extremely lucky to get to this point. For my blood pressure's sake, i'm hoping to pick a game that doesn't go to the wire again before the month is over. BOL to all today. Just glad to even have the opportunity.

this man is on a roll and it looks like there's no stopping him. the only thing that I don't like about his streak is that since the 13 he has taken favorites and has given an overall amount of 47.5 points so far... im the believer that sometimes you gotta take some points just to make it easy on yourself just in case things are not going 100 percent..

but who am I to judge? ive never being this close to 17...

I wonder what would happen if the top prize was ever claimed. Hopefully, that wouldn't be the end of the contest(I assume it wouldn't be.) Either way, hopefully we find out soon. And by soon I mean in 24 days when I get to 25. lol. Seriously, gl to Brackson.

wolver, when the capper "tuppy" first won the contest it was 21 wins to hit the 100k. Now it is 25 wins to get same amount. Odds went up dramatically against that happening anytime soon. Covers ain't stupid. If someone gets that 1million to 1 (probably a lot higher) chance of hitting the big cash, Covers will continue but may tweak the format again. It's still one of the best contests out there that's for free in my opinion seeing that I love to watch sports and gamble!

Of course you get paid, why all the guys around here think that you don`t receive the money? If we had at least one time this scenario until now, probably the contest was already suspended and some winners have already shared their bad experience of not getting paid.

Taking toronto -1.5 at milwaukee this evening. Extra rest for milwaukee. Third game in four days for toronto. Don't care about all my normal concerns in this one. Bucks have won 6 of 10, but every win is against a bottom-feeder (including the Lebron-less Cavs in that group). Think the possibility for a look-ahead by the Raptors is eliminated because they've lost two straight and need a win. They should be focused on this one, and recent history leads me to believe there are significant matchup problems for the Bucks (see 42-point loss in November). Best of luck to everyone today, and happy MLK day!

I've noticed that too. I am pretty sure it means I am a square that has gotten extremely lucky for a couple weeks. No particular method to my madness; I'm on NBA a lot right now because not many days have football available, and I am much more familiar with NBA than college hoops or NHL. I just do minimal research the night before or the morning of games to rule out a few, and then at some point one of the games jumps out at me. Like I have said already, I am certainly not at a capper or professional level, I'm just a fan that's on a brief hot streak. Having a great time at the moment, hope it keeps going for a few more days. I will say that one thing that has helped is dropping cable. I don't have ESPN in my ear 24/7 telling me who I should believe in. I watch when I can, keep up with the league as best I can and go with my own opinion without it being infiltrated by the "experts." Good luck to everyone, and thanks for the support!

Yeah just like MadDog said everybody has been paid. If Covers didn't pay out the bad publicity wouldn't be good for business. Also keep in mind Covers is based in Ireland so they can easily place legal bets there to hedge any potential Jackpot payouts.
