The Nets are in utter disarray right now. No doubt about it but the blazers lackadaisical starts to basketball games is really frustrating and they play Cleveland on wednesday.... .not to mention there is a HUGE blizzard coming in to the NY area tomorrow.... who knows how that affects both teams... the stadium will most likely be empty... and the game may not even be played... not sure yet

33,554,432.  those are the odds brackson has beaten when portland comes through tomorrow and destroys the hapless nets.   im going to say congratulations now, cuz im not going to jerk around reloading pages when this forum overloads tomorrow at 7 pm pacific time.  maybe the servers will crash 
  

i would like to suggest you make a youtube video cuz there are a lot of us, in spite of the fact that most of us are degenerate gamblers with character flaws that would make death row inmates cringe.  but i do believe a lot of us are genuinely happy a young family guy of reasonably modest means pulled off the impossible.  

youre like the rocky balboa for the degenerate sports bettors around the world.

@BRACKSON-It's destiny my man! Your pick of Portland is destiny! I live in Portland and go to several Blazer games a year. The Lakers are my favorite team being from Southern Cal so when you picked them it's probably the only time I rooted against them but I knew they wouldn't let you down because they suck right now. 
The Blazers thanks to LaMarcus Aldridge surprise announcement that he would play through his injury are rejuvenated and ready to roll. They are something special this year. I say all this to say it's written in the stars my man! This is your world! We are the Witness!

Hey brackson13 u should check if the BK game is going to be played. The mayor said there's a historic blizzard heading to NY I don't think they'll risk people going to the games when there telling everyone to stay off the roads something to check out big pick on the line here

@brackson13 haven't listened to this "Just One More Day -  by Otis Redding" song til you shared the link but, it has a laid back feeling to it. Makes me think about being out on a pontoon boat in the middle of the lake having a drink and enjoying the scenery..BOL tomorrow.

That is what I'm talking about! This streak has taken on a bigger meaning for StreakNation. It really has. Brackson is the perfect person to break this ceiling whether we win or lose tomorrow. His class and humility is what sets him apart and brought us all together to share in his glory. There is a strong sense of camaraderie never before seen on Covers or online gambling to my knowledge and for that he will always be remembered. And for those of you who think he should hedge... think realistically of all the outcomes

if hit gets the pick right... he will get the $100K and have to pay taxes on it and then what will he do... deduct his hedge bet from the winnings?

don't think that'll fly...

congratulations brackson13 sorry for my english i am mexican i was wondering if you think about selling your picks.because you already demostrate if you foccus on the picks you can be very good on top of that you picked 1 day before. so you got a lot of time to posted in your own website. imagine your own site selling your daily pick for example $10 dlls if you sell it 100 times a day minimun you can make easy $1000 dlls. am sorry about this i hope not to ofend you but if i was on your shoes i think i will do it spend around $2000dlls on  making the site and see what happens.                                                                                                 pd today is the BIG DAY i am pretty sure you will do it and i will be so happy

Contest winnings are not gambling winnings so he would not be able to deduct his hedge bet.  I hope he wins the $100k but why not take at least the $25k he has already won and put it on the Nets.  I believe there is no state income tax in Florida like us here in California so the tax hit is not as bad.

Just joined this site and found about about this streak contest.  At first, I thought that giving up 7 points at home was a lot, but when I checked out Brooklyn's recent home losses, it seems that they are not always losing at home, but losing by more than 7 points.  So it does seem like a good pick.
