Just curious if most people play this system as a straight up 5-game chase or stop at 4 or other?

I was really hesitant to play it but I also keep looking back over my tracking spreadsheet and seeing a dodgers series I laid off earlier this season every time I scroll through it. I round up and down a little in these but I was at 716 to win 450 to, I think, net about $12 (I use $20 as a unit on chases) when it's all said and done. Will do the math in the morning at work.

Either way, it's a system win! ??

And I didn't even get to watch. Happened to get out of the pool at the middle of the 9th to get a drink and sat there refreshing my phone constantly over what was basically a -7000 bet.

Honest question, how many people are playing the run-line vs moneyline on this 4th game chase?

I may use asian run line -.75 

but that still only gets it down to a synthetic -235 (i'm getting -300ML and -135 1.5RL)

The record since tracking was based on a 6 game chase isn't it? I think it wouldn't be 581-1 if it was a 4 game chase (which I think that's what you're doing now?). Am I correct? Not hating, just wondering. Thanks CKP22.

The bigger issue is for those playing this as a 5 game chase, E games' price would be huge if you play m/l in game D and it loses. Run-line sucks in the event they win by 1 and then have to re-up again for game E. No real good options.

The ONLY option is ML.  It's what the system is based on.  Too many 1 run games.  And with Kershaw on the mound (and how opposing pitchers always seem to get "up" for trying to beat him), game will likely be low scoring.

I agree with you theoretically, but systems do take losses so it's easier said then done. A $10 unit bettor would have to lay around $425 in this game D.

This makes no sense.  This system is based on WINNING - not on decreasing your losses.  And in this situation, you decrease your liklihood of winning by going RL.  As the chase progresses, it is FAR more important to go ML.  If you bet RL because of the fear of loss, you might as well not bet at all.

This is why you MUST plan on going at least 5 games at the start of every series (preferably 6) and set your initial wager accordingly with an eye on future games and pitching matchups .

I'm not talking about runline, I'm saying in general systems do take losses and some can be much bigger then others. So if you can avoid a giant bank roll busting loss in favor of a small loss this would be the chase to bail early on. Not often would you ever get a -300 Game D and a -200 on deck for Game E.

I take it (5) games myself, but based purely on the risk of this chase I'm considering something other.
