Current Bank - $1,386.13 ($646.13 gain, 87% gain on bank)
I was doing some thinking about the bankroll and increasing the bet size. I've been increasing the bets 10% for each 20% gain in bankroll. On second thought, I don't think we should increase until the bankroll doubles. By doing that, if we suffer a loss we still are at least even or still up for the year. Increasing before we double up still exposes us to dropping below the original bank with a loss. So after we double the bank we can increase accordingly for every 20% after that. Thoughts?

Thanks for all you do. I believe your current strategy of increasing your bets by a percentage smaller than the growth of the bankroll is a conservative one. I am following yr lead on this. That's just my opinion, though, and you should do whatever makes you feel comfortable.

your assessment on equating your bankroll to double the original unit value is not only correct, it holds the mathematics connected to systemmatic MM advantage, the 20% holds merit as an increase marginal line...

DR, I think at the end of the day, each gambler is different. Personally, I have raised my "unit" twice since the start of the season. The winnings have been nice, but don't want to get too agressive just yet......long season, just my opinion.

Dan,
I agree 100% that the wagers shouldn't increase until at a minimum the BR doubles. Again every bettor is different and to each their own.
This system should have a BR set up to handle 1 or 2 losses minimum. Loss in inevitable and the BR needs to be strong enough to recover, insurance so to speak. You have a good handle on BR management so I trust you'll make a good decision for your personal goals.
Thanks, and keep it green!

Thanks for your time and efforts and increase to my BR. As stated everyone to their own on MM and I believe your approach is great and will be able to handle any loss if occurred and still show a return. I will share my MM strategy for food for thought, a little more of an aggressive approach in the early stretch of the season. My starting BR was 3x, allowing for 3 losses to occur initially. My bet progressions of 1x,2x,3x,5x, 8x....etc. is calculated by multiplying 0.005 * my current BR balance * progression game. The bet progression amounts are locked in every time you are on game 1. Every time you clear a progression and are back to a game 1, a new progression line is calculated. I figure it is a way to slightly compound winnings. For example, when you started this year my game 1 started at a $25 wager, with last nights clear my new progression line for game 1 is a $32.09 wager. Obviously this approach will be exceptional if you continue to clear. My personal thoughts are that I can use discretion on the amount I bet when the next games 6, 7 & 8 potentially occur to hopefully ensure I still profit......but in the mean time as early progression lines continue to clear, I will attempt to take advantage of the profits working for me.
GL & Thanks again

Hey Dan... out of curiosity... I recall last MLB season you were doing the parlay system for the 2 strongest road faves AND also the 2 dogs closest to evens (if I recall correctly, something like that anyways)...
Have you been monitoring the dogs with this system behind the scenes for NHL ?
Cheers.

I followed you and CKP22 in the Post All-Star Baseball chase system. I've tried to make some more money by betting on the NHL, but I suck. I've decided to follow you here because you doing great. Keep up the good work.
I have a question regarding how you determine the strongest road teams. This may seem like a stupid question but I have to ask. Do you pick them based on,
a). Their actual road records.
b). Based on Covers consensus
or c). Based on the money lines
