I took the under 2.5 and won, but just noticed now that the "& 3" was there

If game ends with 3goals,you lost,but with u2.5&3 u win a half of bet.

I got same odds,so I guess DJ you using Pinnacle,right?

Yes, I use Pinnacle.

In soccer, there is something called the "Asian Handicap" which is basically like the spread or run/puck-line in other sports. With spreads in soccer though, you're often given two numbers which means half of your bet is placed on one number and half on the other. Below is the explanation from Pinnacle.

In some cases, there will be two handicaps listed for a game. For example;

Chelsea 0 and -0.5 +112
Manchester United 0 and +0.5 -122

When two handicaps are listed, half of your bet is placed on each of the handicaps. If you selected Manchester United and placed a bet of $122 to win $100, your actual bets would be $61 at 0, and $61 at +0.5 goals. If the game ended in a tie, you would receive a refund on your $61 bet on 0 goals and win $50 on your bet on Manchester United +0.5 goals. If Manchester United won the game, you would win both sides of your bet and receive $100. If Manchester United lost the game, you would lose your bet of $122.

Totals can also have two handicaps, and work similar to Asian handicaps. For example, if a player bet Under 2.5 and 3 -108, half his bet would be under 2.5, and half would be under 3. Just like the Asian handicap on the team to win the game, a player could win or lose half of their bet depending on the selection they make.

You should have been getting really good odds then... Was it greater than +130?

Not getting the best (or at least similar price to mine) is going to be very detrimental for you.

Does BetFair allow Americans? They usually have the most soccer options with the best odds.

And I don't know about BetFair, I'll check. Really need to find a book that's good for soccer ASAP

You cant use betfair in the US. My boss is in the UK and uses it, he cant even put a bet in when he is in the US.

I fucking hate baseball... After a mostly profitable season, I've been losing on MLB since the end of August. I'm so pissed off right now because I told myself I'd stop betting it weeks ago... yet here I am.

For what it's worth, my soccer picks today are:

Valencia -1/2 +107
Inter/Spurs over 2 1/2 -120
United/Bursaspor over 2 1/2,3 -141
United -1 1/2 -140

All are European cup ties. I follow soccer religiously but don't have the greatest background betting on it, necessarily. This is not my thread, though, and look forward to DJ's picks.
