Wow, it is a really tough board out there today, guys. If I had any sort of streak, I would refrain from picking any of today's coin toss matchups. However, since I am only at win one, I have decided to side with the Atlanta Braves -130 (Derek Lowe (2-3, 3.25 ERA)  over the hosting San Diego Padres ((0-3, 1.40 ERA). !0:05 ET. In this game, we are hoping to capitalize on a hot team vs a cold team situation. The Braves have won 3 in a row and the Padres have lost 4 in arow. Both pitchers have received lousy run support this season to date.                                                                                        About the Braves: The Braves just swept the Giants and have come away from Petco field as winners in 12 of their last 16 games played there. In those matchups, they have batted .301 and totaled 25 homers. Derek Lowe has done well against the Padres in his career, going 5-3 with a 2.75 ERA in 15 starts.The Braves won four of six over the Padres a season ago, taking two of three at San Diego.             About the Padres: The Padres have just a 3-9 Home record this season. They are batting a Major League worst .212 average as a team, to date. Moseley is 0-4 this season and San Diego has failed to even plate one run for him while he has been on the bump. Talk about hard luck!                                         While some could argue that things are "due" to change for both teams, I do not subscribe to this theory. I am banking on thing to continue the way that they have been going. I may be wrong, but I believe the Braves give D-LO enough support tonight to claim another victory at Petco.                      ATLANTA BRAVES -130

To answer your question, I have no idea. All I have ever won was a hat and a hoodie on Streak Survivor. To claim those, I simply replied to the e-mail and gave them my mailing address.     I feel confident that  Memphis will cover tonight, with the outright win certainly not being out of the question. One thing is for sure, you just KNOW that it is going to be a close game that will keep you glued all the way. I debated between picking The Grizz or the Braves, and my decision was made in a panic as the line moved up  to ATL -130. It has since gone back down. At any rate, I hope we get those Wins. The Sharks have outshot the Kings 16-5 in the 1st period, what do they have to show for it? A 0-0 score after 1. The Sharks are doing their best but my futility curse is making the Kings goalie play at his best to... big fight going on let's Go Sharks!

Sharks come through with a Big win and put LA to bed! It's been a while since I had a streak over 2 I don't know what to do with myself. My streaks have been choppier than a Ocean Liner.

Not sure what the spread will be, but I'll be very interested in the Thunders next game at home after tonights loss. Maybe a 5 pt spread I suppose.
