Serious Streak Survivor Strategies

I have explained this before but I will do it again. The Top 5 Angle is simply the record for whatever Capper is in the Top 5 at the moment. It's fluid. I don't care about what one particular Capper has done for the month. It's simply what they have accomplished as a member of the Top 5. It's going to change daily.

The reason why I follow this angle for the 2nd half is because that's when the Top 5 is more settled plus the competition for the monthly prize motivates the Cappers to make strong picks.

As far as the record not being accurate. That's simply not so since I'm going off the record that Covers posts for each Capper for that month. Let's put it in a different context. Maybe you think I'm focusing on individual Cappers. I'm not. I'm simply going by the record of the Top 5 irregardless of who they are. It's a great system and has worked well since I have started posting about it. If you find that the first half is strong feel free to share that with us as well. 

Dog Catcher- These are the numbers from August. These numbers are based on what Covers post so I know they're accurate. The numbers reflect what these 5 Cappers did for the whole month. They may not have been part of the Top 5 the whole month but that doesn't matter. The system is a non-respecter of persons. Hopefully this gives you a better understanding of what I'm basing my numbers on.

Top 5 is having a very choppy start for us including two 1-4 Days. This isn't good. So be very careful if you're betting your streaks on this group right now. 

Well at least you're not a down a bundle just treading water isn't necessarily a bad thing for awhile.

been out of the forums for awhile.. but this is a sound system. 

I think it works better in the 2nd Half rather than the 1st Half

it was ages ago (May 2012).. when me and Stephgame was battling it out for 1st place...I'm sure the win % was high those last 10 days. 

every game counts... you see how close it is toward the month's end. 

Though you might want to throw the last day out... many 2nd, 3rd place members tend to go against the 1st place members.  or visa versa to capture the top prize..

has anyone tried this system with real $$ from start to finish?

if anything over 60% for the month... its strong enough 

the 1st day of the month will always have the top all wins in Streak Survivor.. which is most likely user dog (2700+ wins last time I saw).

so the 1st 5-10 days will usually have cover members with 1000+ wins if they get a good mini streak. 

I do like this system better in the 2nd half than 1st half b/c people really battle it out the last couple of days. 

 I would try this and skip the last day b/c its mostly waiting and waiting for the final pick... more often than not... the last day is always desperation for 2nd-5th players. 

Heres my results: 1 week from 15 sept tip 21 sept

the 1st couple of days will be "old" school members with an insane amount of wins.  the last 2 weeks will be members that will be very hot for the month.  If you look at the current top 5 people... their winning pct are barely above 50%.

though. I give it a shot in Oct and see what happens.  I'm still throwing out the last day.
