Ya, Contreras had ducks all over his pond in the ninth, but they got out of it.lol The line on that Phillies game has now gone up to -131, so it is off the board. It probably has been for a while now, due to the consensus. It has become a pubic play now and and this has me a little concerned. Anyway, I believe that the whole sharps versus squares thing is a bit overblown. I read an article recently that said that large public bets win about half of the time. It  plays a bigger part in against the spread bets, in my opinion, because the bookmakers can counter by moving the points. Thanks for the info on Streakfreak. Dude is killing it! Also, best of luck with the M's. It seems like a solid pick to me.

Good luck with that over, SV. In the third, LA has two in already! Have fun at the game, lucky dude. Chauncey Billups would have made the difference in this series, IMO. HAVE to get him BACK!

I've got the Phillies -120. This is my first pick with my new picture and I've taken the Phillies on SFTC too, while I have nothing here as usual I have a W2 on SFTC. Let's Go Phillies!

I'm a Padres fan, but I believe this is the year to bet against them until they get some power/run production. It's always a struggle to not bet w/ the heart, but to keep a streak going that is what it takes.

BamaBilly you don't ever have to apologize for posting. You have brought serious content to the Club. I want everybody to feel free to post here as many times as they want. No egos here guys. We're all here to support each other in a positive way. I'm proud of the fact that this thread has been going for 3+ months and we have nothing but quality people in our Club. Some threads fall apart because of ongoing arguments, personal vendettas and the sort. We haven't had that and with the exception of the occasional Assclown that will show up and make some stupid comment about how come we don't bet $50 or $100 and keep doubling we have nothing but positive vibes going on. You can believe and I have been told that we have alot of cappers that follow our post but they never post here. We are huge on this site and continue to have our members lead or be a factor in almost every race. In closing all you guys Quad, Bamabilly, Sovicious, Getrdonrite, Clintorious, BigLouis and many others I'm just naming a few keep posting. Keep spilling your guts and telling us how you feel win or lose. It's a great thing that we have going here.

All I can say Quad is it's good to rotate the Avatars but you got to get the real babes up there to get the full effect. A good source is the daily babe of the day right here on Covers. Thats a good start.

I should have known better than to pick the Magic over the Hawks. Both of these teams suck big time and are very inconsistent. They deserve each other and this is why this is hardest series to predict. I will leave these 2 sad sack teams alone as far as betting and all streaks until they both have been put out of their misery. Man down!

Our goal here is to win the money and we have established a tradition of that in a short period of time. On a personal note I see you're a Padre fan. Well let me tell you I'm a die hard Yankee fan and have been for most of my life but I was raised in San Diego and the Padres have a special place in my heart. I graduated from Hoover High not sure if you live in Diego but if you do you know that Ted Williams graduated from my school. I go way back I would attend about 25 Padre games a yr as a kid. Saw Dave Winfield throw people out from deep RF. Randy Jones Cy Young year, all those Padre greats. If you don't know who I'm talking about ask your Dad I know he knows. Anyway you're a homeboy so keep coming back and spending time here in the 25 Dime Club.

I agree that this is one of very few positive threads on here where people can share their views without fear of criticism or trolls lurking in the shadows to smash them over the back of the head when they are not looking. The quality of the posters here is why I joined in the first place. You see, I have been following for a while, but I just never posted. All of the people you named, as well as others throughout the history of the thread have created a mellow vibe where we can all grow as cappers. It's not all serious though, as some funny shit goes on here frequently. To sum it all up, thanks to you and all of the club members for creating the most funkadelic cappers' thread on the web. The fact that good picks emerge daily is just the icing on the cake.

We will call it the CIA (Cappers Intelligence Agency) You my friend are going beyond the beyond in bringing good solid info to the Club. I'm still content in San Diego even though the Chargers or Padres haven't won the Championship. Baseball hard too really get to serious about as a low budget team for the series, but I can always laugh at how much the Dodgers spend and lose like pigs.
Ted Williams is classic- nice to have his name on : ted williams parkway.

It feels good to be back in the win column after a one day hiatus. I "intentionally" lost my  two game streak Thursday night on the Bulls. To make up for that I warned everyone against picking the Bulls and delivered two alternate picks that were both winners. Now about Friday night: The Phillies cashed in as -120 favorites for us with a 2-0 victory over the Pads. Both starting pitchers pitched splendidly, but Philadelphia just got a little more production at the plate. Cole Hamels got the shutout win. Philadelphia Phillies -120    =

I cannot take credit for discovering the Streakfreak. It was Getrdonrite who scouted the guy and he recommended it on a post last night. I will be proud to serve on the CIA, but Getrdonrite has the lowdown on the mlb capping thread aces.

Well, I am too tired to rack my brain over Saturday's board just now. Only one MLB game looks to be taken off the board before sunrise and that's the New York Mets -126. I'm not sure how I feel about this game, however Accuscore has them favored to win 61% of the time. Since I only have a one gamer going, I will probably "intentionally" lose today by picking my favorite NBA team, DA BULLS. I am not wild about the -4.5 pricetag and will probably wait it out to see if it drops to -3.5 like it did on Thursday night. I will post my play, as always, when get it in stone. As I stated earlier on, I still think the Chicago Bulls are going to sweep those dudes. I have been very impressed with the toughness of the Pacers and Frank Vogel's gameplan against Chicago in the series so far, but I think the sustained emotion has taken its toll. I may be wrong, but something tells me that Chicago is going to run away with it tonight.

Rockies @ Marlins Over 9
I'm taking the Over since Javier Vasquez is pitching for the Marlins, Jason Hammel the Rockies pitcher has bad numbers against the Marlins, and both offenses can hit. With that being said some people got the Over at 8.5
