Smooth, I"m back.. taking N.O +11.5, for win number 4
Sovicious4u!!! We missed you brotha! Don't stay gone so long. Some guys are under the mistaken impression that when you start losing you have nothing to contribute. I beg to differ...Thats when you really need to be here for the moral support and to get other perspectives on these games. April is usually a good month for cappers but this month has been brutal for most everybody. Let's get to work and get some long streaks going again.

I'm not gonna bet it but the Lakers have to make a statement tonight. Losing to New Orleans at home and giving up 109 points to that team is inexcusable. I'm looking for Gasol to man up big time and dominate this game tonight. Lakers need to squash the Hornets to let people know they're serious about the Threepeat!

What a victory by the Sharks last night. Down 4-0 in the 2nd Period the Sharks came storming back with 5 Goals in the 2nd to tie the game at 5. The Sharks put the Kings away in OT with a goal. It's only the 4th time in NHL Playoff history that a team came back down by 4 goals or more. I'm a Shark fan if you can't tell and I put them on the streak for W1. Go Sharks!

It looks like I went 1-3 instead of 2-2 on ultimate race last night I thought that game was over after the 1st period. I see that the Sharks went into the 2nd period down 0-4 and came out of it 5-5. After a scoreless 3rd they hit the game winner just over 3 minutes into the OT. By finding out the Kings lost, it makes my survivor win even sweeter that it was with my lone ultimate race win. I don't care about UR as I'm 40 wins out and the race is just about over. Congratulations on your team and survivor pick coming back for the W! Keep it going! I'm going with the Braves -130 over the Dodgers.

Thanks bamabilly for the messages and congratulations on your pick! I will check into what you said on the messages for now on to keep the Ls away. I did lock in the Braves -130 before I saw your messages so I hope I can be at 2 and then build up from there. Good luck on your next pick.

Been awhile with work and travel for both biz and pleasure. And its shown on my streak results. Time to get back to the right side of a good long streak. Got home (been away for 3 weeks) and had a Covers Hat awaiting.. Maybe it'll become a superstition for me if I can hit some solid streaks. haha - but I won't lie it would be if it did happen. Lets go Nuggets!! Hopefully they don't get royally screwed by blatant goaltend call with 40 seconds to go in the game. Shame as it might be the best series of all the playoffs and its the first round. WC playoff teams are pretty glad they're removing one of the two I believe. The Mavs handling the Blazers is showing a different Dallas club then I'm used to... But 2 games or even one series is too quick to judge I will say... Taking the over on Philly/Miami as I think they get up and down in their home arena and the Heat will be happy to get up tempo a bit.
GL2all!

Today, I am in no hurry to return to baseball picks. The way I see it, I have ALL SUMMER to lose on baseball. *LOL* Right now, I'm just waiting for the line on Memphis to hopefully climb back to +8.5 . I see great value here as Memphis is 5-0 vs spread when playing Spurs this year; they're 10-3 vs spread in last 13 games overall, and they are 13-5 in last 18 games as a dog. Not to mention they took game one outright. Conversely, the Spurs are 4-9 in last 13 games. The Spurs are pointspread poison as of late by covering just three of the last 11 contests. They really missed Manu Ginobili in game one and he is questionable tonight. He will not even be close to 100%, even if he can go. The Grizzlies have dominated this series of late, have won four of six meetings straight up, and covered the spread in all six games. Memphis split the regular-season series with San Antonio 2-2, but the Spurs needed overtime for one of their victories. I think Memphis covers here tonight, guys! I'll settle for +8, if I have to. Best of luck tonight, all. MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES + ? (+8.5 or +8 )

Got it just now @ +8. I freaked out and hit the panic button because I now see the line dropping to +7.5 for the Grizz as underdogs at several sportsbooks. Good to hear from you, Clintorious22! Congrats on your Hat and good luck getting streaking again. heh, heh.

From the preview: Lowe is 1-1 with a 2.95 ERA in three starts against
the Dodgers since he left the club to sign with the Braves as a free
agent in 2009. Los Angeles has some hitters with decent numbers against
him including Jamey Carroll (5 for 11), Andre Ethier (4 for 8) and
James Loney (4 for 9). Dodgers starter Jon Garland (0-1, 11.25)
looks to bounce back from a rough season debut. He was activated off
the disabled list Friday after straining his left oblique March 9, and
gave up five runs over four-plus innings in an 11-2 home loss to St.
Louis. Garland is 0-2 with an 11.48 ERA in three career starts
against the Braves. He's had success against Uggla, limiting the
slugger to three singles in 15 at-bats. All signs pointed to Atlanta this game just went wrong.

That sucks for my team and your pick, Quad. Maybe they will have an outburst soon! They did score ten runs last night. I wanted to pick my Braves, but they always break my heart. They seem to win when they're no tsupposed to and lose when they should win. I can't figure them out at all.

its the 5th inning, there's still time & Garland will ware down if the Braves stay patient at the plate. Doggers bullpen is shakey so its NOT OVER till its OVER.

Braves are finished tonite who would have thunk that Garland would pitch like Cy Young? Thing is they blew their wad last nite and its a shame that they get -130 with Derek Blow. His record is NOT impressive against Doggers but it sucks that what ya read goes the other way... thats sports Hey Quad hang with it even tho it may NOT be fun at the moment

Great pick with the Caps, Getrdonrite. Playoff hockey makes for some serious worrying, most of the time. Lol. Now if only the Braves can Get R Done!
I was thinking of the Caps but decided to take the non hockey option. Even worse I lost my mini win 2 with the Braves on SFTC. Congratulations on those who came back with the Capitals. Tomorrow I look to improve my sorry 255-256-14 record with the the idea that bamabilly gave me. All my streaks shall rise from the ashes at the land of Zero. As for me picking the Braves (on both games)

Well, I locked in Thursday's pick and I advise using extreme caution if anyone is considering tailing. For Win #3 I am throwing the rules out and picking my favorite NBA team, the Chicago Bulls, to invade Conseco Fieldhouse and come away with at least a five point victory! I may be wrong but I feel this is a statement game for DA Bulls against a team with a gimpy starting point guard. Collison may not even play. Gametime decision. Lock it in early because the spread will be climbing, IMO. If you want some other strong plays tomorrow besides this one, I like Miami -4.5 (NBA) and Florida -127 (MLB). I feel very strong about the Heat play in particular and like it even more than the Bulls, but did not take it. The Marlins play I haven't looked into much other than the starting pitching advantage and the fact that the Marlins have owned the Pirates for two straight nights so far this week. Get all of these lines asap because they will be moving against the favorites, I believe. Good luck, everybody! CHICAGOBULLS -4.5
