Serious Streak Survivor Strategies

So I've been doing really good with NHL parlays lately so I'll start posting my plays over here.  Also I've got a streak of 7 going, tonight I took Carolina over Ottawa, after I made the pick I started second guessing it because now I feel like Ottawa is gonna win it.  So here's my parlay for tonight, going with a 3 team.  I'm not overly confident in this one, I'm putting $15 down on it, it pays around $65. 

I really don't ever bet large amounts, usually between 25-50 per bet, I started with a $100 at the start of this NFL season, managed to not go bust through the whole season, ended with about $210, just keep going up & down but never bust.  So since betting on NHL starting a week ago I'm up to $450 just doing $10-15 parlays.

St. Louis Blues -110

Tampa Bay Lightning -190

Philadelphia Flyers -120

Edit:  That $210 I ended the NFL season should of been $110.

Damn, my parlay was looking decent until a min ago, Tamps is up 6-0, St.Louis is up 3-2, and the Philly game was tied 1-1 in the 3rd, but Washington just scored making it 2-1, hopefully Philly will tie it back up here.

Damn it, yeah Philly lost, but at least Carolina won so my streak is up to 8, all NHL pick except for one, I would be at 13 but I lost 1 pick back on the 22nd.

So I'm putting another bet in, I'm taking the Wild +105 & Blackhawks +1 1/2 (-255) parlayed, so hoping to end the night on the positive side.

Wow, congrats man, just saw you won the monthly 1K, GJ.  Whats even more impressive is I see you just started playing, you gotta be thinking this game is easy as hell.  I see most of your picks are NBA totals, do you bet on those picks as well?  Do you have a system or do you just pick what you think looks like a good bet?  Anyways not sure if anyone's told you about the hat & hoodie, but the hat is kinda crappy, I have like 4 of them, but the hoodie is really nice, I actually have 2 of them and wear mine all the time, they accidentally sent me 2, they are really big though, but when you wash them they shrink quite a bit.

Damn lost my 2 team parlay, won the Hawks bet, lost the Wild game.  After being on fire for the first week I started NHL betting the last 2 nights I've just been off, well tomorrows another day and hopefully my luck will turn back around.

Just another winner in the NHL fellas! Montreal comes through for Smoothd. This time I put it on Survivor as well as bet it. 

Damn, earlier today in NHL if you had taken the home team -1 1/2 in the first 3 games today & parlayed it, $15 paid over $400, wish I had gotten in on that action.  So it's inspired me for tonights bets, I did 2 parlays, (1) 3 team & (1) 2 team parlay, I'm taking in the 2 team Tampa Bay Lightning -1½ (+225) & San Jose Sharks -1½ (+180), in the 3 team I'm taking those same 2 teams plus Boston Bruins -1½ (+195).  Hoping my luck turns back around tonight after 2 horrible days.

Also my streak is at 8 & I'm taking Tampa Bay tonight for win 9 & the hat, which I already have more then I know what to do with.

Good run Trax. There have been no long streaks on this thread in months! We are way overdue for a few nice runs.

I just wanted to post my late pick on the Super Bowl! Ravens will win outright! Good luck to Baltimore, Ray-Ray, Ed Reed, and my Bama Boys! (Mount (Terrence) Cody and Courtney Upshaw! Roll Tide!
I think the Ravens will win a low scoring game, but my strongest play was on the Ravens +4.

I won my Survivor pick earlier today with Rider -3 against Marist.

I think this game has shown that I am a elite Capper when it comes to the Super Bowl. I haven't lost money on a Super Bowl since 1995 (SD-SF) and have won every side bet except  the Tampa-Oakland Super Bowl. But I made money still on the prop bets on that game. This year I swept the board except 1 prop bet. Ravens ML, Ravens +4, Flacco passing yds Over, Kaepernick Yds Over. All winners. Rice rushing yds Over was the loser. Congrats to all the Ravens backers. It was a great game. Hat's off to the Niners for coming back. That blackout helped them tremendously. Just another great Super Bowl!

I am very happy for them all. It was a great game except for the now infamous Blackout .

     For tonight I am on George Mason -5.5 tonight on the road at ODU. For the life of me, I cannot figure why the spread is so low. If this is a trap, just consider me snared. I'm only going for a second in a row, so what the heck, huh?
