After a passionate 1st week in the BATTLE FORUM we have ironed out some kinks and made some adjustments to the rules. Here are the rules in the BATTLE FORUM
Rule1- Combatants agree on terms of the outcome of the battle- IE money, prize, gift or whatever.
Rule 2- The ref acknowledges the battle and the combatants.
Rule3- The Battle begins with 3 picks being posted by both combatants on the thread.
Rule 4- Combatants battle for 7 consecutive days- If you don't post your picks they will be considered losses. Post your picks and the current line when you post. If there is a disagreement on the line then it will be verified that your line was accurate by the time of your post by checking the betting trends on Covers.
Rule 5- After the 7th day the winner of the battle is announced and the terms of the agreement must be enforced.
Rule 6- You can pick any sport worldwide. No Money Line on Football or Basketball point spreads only, Baseball is money line only. There are no restrictions on who you can pick regardless of odds.
Rule 7- If you miss 2 days of picks then the Battle will be considered a TKO and you will lose and terms enforced.
Rule 8- On the 7th day of Battle you can't pick the same side as your opponent. The player that posts first has priority on this. This is to prevent "clinching" the Battle on the last day.
Rule-9 I reserve the right to amend the rules as needed when situations arise.

Beat The Streak on MLB. It's actually the Grandfather of all streak games from what I understand. Break Joe DiMaggio's record of 56 games in a row and you win $5.6 million. They made an adjustment this year where you can play 2 players at once. Check it out it's fun but it's really hard. Quad has been quite successful at it. It looks like Booyahz has a really good streak going. My all time high is 14. This year my high is 7. Like I said I completely suck in that game but I can't help myself. Brazil just keeps calling my name! LOL

The Followers of SmoothD are about to invade Captown thanks to another victory by their fearless leader. They're riding a W8 as they prepare to conquer Captown! Smoothd gave a speech last night telling his followers he may not get there with them but he will lead from behind. The crowd went crazy.

SMOOTHD'S FOLLOWERS SLAUGHTERED AT THE DOORS OF CAPTOWN! 
I't become a monthly tradition now, whether he's leading from the front or giving orders from behind Smoothd can't seem to get past Captown! The streets are running RED with the BLOOD Of Smoothd's people as they lay beat and defeated in the streets from the Captown beating. Smoothd was confident that Tommy Millone would lead the charge into Captown, well he did but somebody forgot to tell the Oakland hitters to bring their bats. Oakland brought water pistols to a gunfight and that was once again the story as Smoothd is turned back yet again. Smoothd is rumored to be developing nuclear weapons in order to vaporize 
Captown and skip the carnage next time. UN inspectors are investigating these claims. Smoothd couldn't be reached for comment.

BAY AREA BASH BROTHERS BASEBALL LEAGUE

CHAMPIONSHIP DESTROYS GREEN SMOKERS MOVE BACK INTO 1ST PLACE!
The Championship opened up a can a whoop Ass on the Green Smokers beating the 1st place team 12-1 and knocking them out of the Penthouse. OF Carlos Gonzalez led the barrage with 4 HR's, 9 RBI's and a .500 avg to lead his team back to 1st place. The Championship had been struggling but this beatdown was what they needed to get back to the Penthouse. They have roommates though Str8ballin and Always 2nd Place have joined them.

STR8BALLIN DOWNS SLUMPING BLUE CRUSHERS 8-3!
Str8ballin defeated the Blue Crushers sending the Crushers further down in the standings. SS Hanley Ramirez belted 4 HR's, 6 RBI's with a .500. The only good news for the Crushers was Pitcher Felix Doubront winning 2 games and posting 13 K's.

CALIFORNIA BEARS EDGE HOMERUN KINGZ!
The California Bears are back to their winning ways posting their 2nd victory in a row over the last place Homerun Kingz. The Bears once again had great pitching with 5 pitchers posting 0.00 ERA's including 3 starters. The highlight of the week no doubt was Bears Pitcher Johan Santana pitching a no-hitter for the Bears. Even better news the Bears move up in the standings to 5th Place.

Always 2nd Place defeat Fireballs 8-6!
It was a see-saw battle between these 2 rivals but the Fireballs couldn't overcome the stellar pitching by Always 2nd Place. Always 2nd Place had 5 pitchers post 0.00 ERA's and Matt Cain had a 1.13 ERA. The team ERA for the week was an incredible 2.49 with 81 K's. All the Fireballs could do was look on in astonishment as they sunk closer to the cellar.
