I'm done playing streak everyday for now... I only did that to see if I could get a monthly. I will try to be one of the few that can win 17 in a row 2x if that hasn't happened before.

I did exactly what I wanted to do.... make Stephgame pick a game and prevented him from doing a copycat pick. Stephgame made the right pick and wins on virtue of a tie breaker. Dodgers truly sucked today being swept at home in a 4 game series.

congrats to Stephgame.

I did hedge his pick so its not a total loss.

MRJLX, stations casino's here in vegas refues to move totals a lot of the time and will just keep raising the juice, their one if not the only stubborn book out here. oh luckys does the same thing.

Under was -140 and over was +120 on rockies 10 total. Dodgers was even money on over 7. Fine with me,I get a lot of plus money and even money, one good thing about stations.

I started the BATTLE FORUM for a couple of reasons. I got tired of going on threads and guys having pissing contests and telling each other to start a thread. 99% of the time it would never happened and they just kept sniping at each other. The other reason is that when guys did decide to battle they would have this complicated system of Units and all that BS. I say BS because every time you could only tell they were sandbagging. In other words if I got a strong play I'm just going to play 20 Units on Team A to beat Team B. That's bogus in a contest as far as I'm concerned. So the BATTLE FORUM was born out of this frustration. Right now we have 2 battles going. Two $25 Dime Club members Crush and Booyahz were gracious enough to accept challenges. I think last month, it was the same situation when #1 and #2 tied in wins and #2 lost the tie breaker due to total Streak wins. This rewards the Covers members for playing longer.

Covers should make a new tiebreaker like sudden death to win where tied members have to keep playing the Streak everyday until one loses. That will create drama.

I guess there is a small advantage being #2 (other than no one knows who #2 is

)... is that for some reason Stephgame can't receive his prize.....I'm waiting in the wings.

wow... I was bleeding Dodger blue last night and Dodgers got punched out in a weak display

Dodgers never got swept at home in a 4 game series in 19 years!

so its one of those meant to be cases...

If I ever approach that streak again going to 17 and beyond... I might to go silent in the posts next time around.

Great job MRJLX. I think the Rockies did it to them a few years back. Kemp being on the DL for a month this time is going to hurt them real bad. I'm going to stay away from them as far as betting and just root for my team.

My source is the LA times... it said the "It was the first time the Dodgers had been swept in a four-game series at Dodger Stadium in 19 years"

so Stephgame was going against serious history there.

just another reason for me to hate the Dodgers more now.

since SmoothD20 made this forum as a strategy forum... I will try to write a post or two of my May experience. If anything... the month of May made me a stronger player. most of the time I was playing streak survivor on mostly gut feelings. all I wanted was the hat after (2) 8 game win streaks.

Hello Streak Nation this is SmoothD coming at you. Welcome to Summer and let's continue our torrid march towards the prize. We took yesterday off from our streak but today we're back on it and we have a nice W6 going looking for W7. They're not going to make it easy on us that for sure. I think I found a nice number we can hold our hat on. Take the Over in the St. Louis-Mets game. The Cardinals are the highest scoring team in the N.L. and have scored at least 7 runs in the last 3 out of 4 games. Even if they only score 5 runs against Santana you got to figure the Mets are good for at least 3 runs against Wainright. Take the Over and keep our Streak Alive.

Our money play for today will be the Boston Celtics minus 2 points. The Celtics played a tough hard nose game on Wednesday only to lose in OT. I expect them to come out on fire and fired up at home in this game. The Celtics don't want to go down 3-0 so look for them to play lights out tonight. Celtics for the win and let's keep this train moving!
