Yo, T99: Another resource for MLB preseason pregame lineups is on Baseball Press. Here is the link to their lineup page: Baseball Press MLB lineups page
They often get the lineups before anyone else, it seems. Unfortunately they do not put the stats next to the names, but at least you know who is in the game.

MLB.com's scoreboard page gets the lineups in usually 30 to 15 minutes before first pitch. Just wait until the word "Box" appears above the game for which you want to see the lineups. It is better to wait for this site's lineups because they have their batting averages next to the names.

I also use ESPN's  Spring Training Standings page to see who is streaking and to see the team's last ten games results at a glance. They also list runs for and against.

Good luck to all that purchased lottery tickets for tonights huge mega millions drawing!     I made the drive to Cali  early this morning.  Stopped at state line and LMAO at the line 400 to 500 deep at 6:30 a.m.  And they didnt open til 8.   Kept on cruising to Baker and waited about 10 minutes.

Wow !  Thanx bama --- I'm more than impressed with all the support you $ Dimers have given me ---- this is certainly the best forum on Covers or anyplace I've seen. Luck to MakeSumCake & all . I'm going to get my lady here to type a proper & deserved response---.

     I am trying my luck with the Bucks tonight. I hesitated on them at -1.5. I should have just pulled the trigger because I ended up taking them anyway at -2. Hesitation is a common theme with me it seems.

@ your story about passing the HUGE line just across the State line to get to that sweet 10 minute in and out further down the highway. Something tells me you've done that before... lol. I wish you would have got it, man. That was some life changing money to be had there for sure.

You are welcome, brother. I only wish that I had seen and posted earlier. I agree with you about this forum and thread. The support here is priceless. Good luck in that Baseball Contest! There is still time.

     Sorry to see you lose your streak. Sigh. Anyhoo, it is not about how times you fall off the horse, it is all about how many times you get back on it! A short memory and thick skin are required in this game and your next big streak is right around the bend. Good luck, eh!

Way back in the day in Cali I was a regular lottery player. Nowadays I rarely play. Maybe twice a year and that's when the pot gets huge. (I love how we don't think that $3 million dollar pots don't mean anything LOL) At any rate I digressed. So I stop in to my local Fred Meyer store here in Beaverton to buy some lottery tickets. I have my numbers figured out and I'm ready. The line is the longest I have seen for a lottery game in my life it's a little over 100 people. It was about 5:30 so I figured with the drawing at 8 I have plenty of time. So I go grab a bite to eat at Popeyes (I can't resist the place) There's only 2 fast food restaurants I absolutely love Popeyes and El Pollo Loco. They recently closed all the El Pollo Locos in the Portland area earlier this year, sad day indeed. I digressed again but stay with me. Back to the story. I'm eating at Popeyes working on some additional numbers for the lottery. Now it's about 6:15 I saunter back over to Fred Meyer, the line is still long but not as long as it was earlier so I'm not sweating it. I'm having delightful conversations with people in line talking about what we would do with all the money if we won. Suddenly somebody makes us aware that the cutoff time was 7pm to purchase tickets. I don't play so I'm completely unaware of this and my thinking was the cut off time would 7:45. Now we have a sense of urgency and the people in front of us are having problems understanding how to put the slips into the machine etc. One gentlemen took up 5 minutes messing around as others including myself tried to help him along. Needless to say this isn't a situation I envisioned when I left my house to buy the tickets. I have nobody to blame but myself and that dam urge to eat Popeye's Chicken. Now we're down to 5 minutes and 8 people in front of me. You already know this isn't going to end well as that feeling sinks in. It's like being at the race track and getting shut out at the window after doing all that studying. At any rate as the clock is ticking other people are having problems putting their slip in to the machine and the sands of the hour glass slip away. I was 2 people away. The people in line lamented our luck but I wasn't mad at the neophytes that didn't know how to input the slips. I was mad at myself for being diverted by Popeye's Chicken. My thoughts were as I phoned a friend to tell him what happened that if my numbers hit I would be sick for a week at least. Can you imagine $640 million gone because you were hungry? Alas the numbers were reported and it was with great relief that I wouldn't have one  a dime with the 25 cards I would have played. I have never been so happy to not win in my life. Moral of the story-Never cross the road to eat Chicken when $640 million is on the table.

My condolences to MakeSumCake. Also, thanx 'Bama. Couldn't figure out anything  this A.M. There is a real good free pool  https://www.cbc.ca and free Kia for first half, second half and play-offs. (play-offs still available)  I was going in 30 points behind this A.M., so got involved in Philly v.s. Pitts and missed the .  As you can tell my lady typed the above, but she is done until I win a bet.  ( You Bet ...ha ha) I'm done typing until he at least wins $10.00.  I can be bribed so I may write something proper for ol' one digit yet.

FANTASY BASKETBALL RESULTS!
SmoothD's bid for a threepeat in the Bay Area Riders Basketball league went down in flames as Smoothd's Raining 3's finished out of the Playoff spots with a 9th place finish. The Raining 3's will have to make due in the Consolation Bracket. 
Booyahz's Rookie season was a learning experience as Booyahz's Flint Tropics was competitive but came in last place in their inaugural season. The Raining 3's and Flint Tropics will square off in the Consolation Bracket in the first round otherwise known as the Toilet Bowl. 
Disgraced Vector's team 40 Acre Madness came in 10th place. The team had to be taken over by the league for reasons that we are all aware of.  
All in all it was another successful season in the league. The Playoffs commence today and we wish the best of luck to the teams  remaining. We encourage all $25 Dime Club members to consider playing in a league of own next year if interest warrants.

MINNESOTA NCAA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT NEWS!
There's more Basketball news for your enjoyment. In the NCAA Crushalot made a great late surge but the Michigan St pick to win it all has doomed Crush and he has been eliminated from finishing in the top 5 to win any money. Crush made a great late run to at least make it exciting. Other known $25 Dime Club members in the pool Smoothd and Booyahz are nowhere to be found. Smoothd after being a factor through half the tournament did his usual swan dive and is in 61st place and will fall further if Kentucky wins. Interesting note about Smoothd last year he finished with 59 points and ended up in 18th place. This year he has more points but is lower in the standing go figure. The competition has definitely gotten tougher this year. We encourage all $25 Dime Club members to participate in this contest as well. This year we had 102 people in several states participate for the chance to win $1020. Next year we look to double the people and the money.

Anyone got SS pick tonight ; qaqaqaqaqaqaqaqaqaqaqa, THAT was my dog's big paw, can't figure a pick from it . Wash vs TBay was available earlier; perhaps it will come back  again. Stamkos is my STAR in CBC pool, Karlson d-man, Thomas goal. All 3 do extremely well & perhaps still a shot for a Kia

Somebody kick me in the face for betting the NBA again today.  If you ever see me pick an NBA game,  put a stack on the opposite.  I mean,  damn,  Chicago -7.5,  nahhh, I'll take moneyline.    OKC Thunder -7.5,  nahhh,  how bout moneyline.     Lakers last Sunday -6.5,  nahhh,  moneyline.   All home teams.  Nite Nite.

I'm glad you enjoyed it Crush. At least you made it exciting. Last year one of my friends down in Stockton took home the money. We will get those Minnesota boys next year for sure.
