Yes. Ridiculous.
I remember someone doing a similar research on an italian betting forum, a long time ago. They found no particular changes in the aggregate scoring potential when a single red card was issued, the same for two cards against the same team (but the sample in this case was a lot smaller). They found instead, on average, more goals being scored when both teams had a player sent off (but also in this case, the sample was small).
Unfortunately, I don't remember the forum. I had saved the data-set they shared at the time but I can't find it now. I guess I later ignored it, mainly because I don't like to bet on live matches.

Thanks Alessandro! I’ve definitely shown an increase in goals post certain red card situations. However, waiting for lines to drop to respectable odds and timing the goal(s) is the hard part.
