Had SINGHA BEER back in 1978 in the navy when I was in PATTAYA BEACH , THAILAND!!! I think it’s double the alcohol content as many men got drunk on the boat that took us ashore from anchoring out as there was no piers or a place to dock. PATTAYA beach back then was completely empty with only 2 motels. Now it’s a tourist resort full of red light districts. There was nothing there in 1978!!!!!

i am aware of the history , i was working in Bangkok many years starting early 90s , and went down to Pattaya sometimes for the weekend , always a great party when US aircraft carriers (Nimitz, Kitty Hawk) anchored and half of the crew came to the city , like 5,000 men per night
