Hi Rod, I totally agree mate. Very strange putting SBW into the halves. Robinson did it for several games last year during the origin period but I think they would be better off with Mortimer in the halves.

ORIGIN ONE
Queensland vs New South Wales: Under 18 1st Half - $1.80
Going to go with the 1H under. 18 points seems a lot to me in the opening half of Origin. Both teams will be fired up and I can't see them showing too much flair to begin with. The 2H might be different so playing the 1H instead. 18 points is at least 3 tries with 3 conversions and I don't think there will be 3 tries in the opening half of Origin.

Penrith Panthers vs Parramatta Eels: Eels +7.5 - $1.91
This is too many points to be given to an over-rated team so far. The Panthers dont deserve to be more than a try favorite at home. In their last home game, they didn't cover the -3.5 vs the Titans and IMO the Eels are going to be up for this local derby. Eels beat the Panthers only 2 months ago at Parra Stadium and they have a decent record at Penrith Park. They got flogged last season but we all know that the Eels were a different team last season. Other than that, they 2-2 S/U at Penrith and the 2 games they have lost were by 4 and 1. Will take the extra points. I don't care if Hayne is rested or not, this team will be up for this local derby

Brisbane Broncos vs Manly Sea Eagles: Broncos H2H - $1.85
No DCE for Manly, pushing Littlejohn to HB Also like the fact that Ben Hunt is going to be in the selectors eyes for Origin 2 seeing that the Maroons have a lot of injuries. It has been stated that Hunt could be given a utility bench spot if he proves his worth over the next couple of weeks. He has had a stellar season so far (have him in my Supercoach team LOL) and I think he and the Brisbane forward pack get it done today. No Watmough and Stewart in the forwards for the Eagles today. Go the Broncos!!!

I don't like touching any New Zealand games because this team is the most inconsistent team in the entire league. One game they will come out and beat the best team in the league, the next game they will come out and lose against the worst. Sorry buddy, no reading on that game.

St George Dragons vs Cronulla Sharks: Sharks +6.5 - $1.91
No way should the Dragons be favored by a try and more against the Sharks in a local derby. I will take the extra points for the dog in this game because the Dragons defense is non-existent right now and the Sharks have their pride to play for.

Canberra Raiders vs Brisbane Broncos: Raiders +3.5 - $1.91
A nice cold night in Canberra for the Broncos. This place is no longer a fortress but I don't think they lose by more than 2 at home. This was the same line given to them vs the Storm and the Storm are a better team than the Broncos. I think the Raiders win this game S/U but will take the extra points.

Such a topsy-turvy season so far but need to turn things around. I have noticed that the fav's are starting to come in a far bit now as well. Anyways.
Cronulla Sharks vs Manly Sea Eagles: Under 38
Cold night down in Cronulla. The Sharkies defense is a lot better at home compared to on the road. At home, Sharks are scoring around 17.5 and allowing the same. The Eagles have only played 3 away games so far and they have only put on 13.75 points per game average and allowed 23. Seeing something around the 20-14 mark in this game.

Newcastle Knights vs NQ Cowboys: Cowboys TT under 18 - $1.90
The Knights have leaked a lot of points this year at home as almost every team apart from the Broncos and the Sharks have hit above this total at Marathon (or whatever you call it now - im old school). So will look for a big defensive effort from the Knight tonight as I think they role but will take the Cowboys TT instead because the Knights can't be trusted at -4.
Reports are suggesting that JT is out of this game due to a knee injury. This has still not been confirmed but regardless, im going the under. I think this is finally a game where the Knights can win. The Cowboys have only hit above 18 once this season vs the Eagles at Gosford.

Making a comeback.....

Something that caught my eye on tonight's game which I like.
Season: 20-21
(closet thing to a steeden LOL). Panthers vs Cowboys Either team to score 3 unanswered tries - No $2.
With the total set so low at 34.5 for this game, I dont believe that either team will score 3 tries straight without the other team hitting back. Its wet and miserable in Penrith right now and i think we see a game something very low, maybe like 18-12. I just cant see how one team is going to allow 3 unanswered tries in what should be a muddy, grind em out kind of game with the forwards lining each other up.
