San Francisco at San Diego (12/16/2010)

     The Bolts are  very strong in the last 4 games of the year for the last 6 seasons. Looking to capture division honors before season's end. Dont see 49 ers putting up any resistance.

SAN DIEGO  - 9.5  (Extra Large!)

This one is too whats the word trappy to me be carefull here this line should easily be 13 or so with SF quarterback issues only beating crappy teams combinded with SD homefield adv and best defense and offense in the NFL. i just say tread lightly here on a side. look at the total instead i am leaning towards the over here just cause im seeing some special teams play coming into play here SD special teams are bad to say the least and Ted Ginn JR knows how to return kicks so im seeing SF with some real good field position here. which should put them in a position to compete, or at least add to the 30 plus points SD will put up.
OVER 44.

I dont like all the points you have to give up for this game , +9.5 is alot of points the Chargers are going to have to cover . The Chargers have lost to the Chiefs in week 1 , Seahawks , Rams and the Raiders twice. All games they should have won . (they also lost to the Pats but we expected that) , At times they have showed brillaince and at times they have not (like losing to Raiders  x2) can they do it , maybe ?  SF has shown signs of being able to score and could keep it close.

the better bet is the over 44.5 . Both offenses can score , could be a blowout of 31-14 , or it could be close 24-21. either way I favor the over

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm....

I'm on San Francisco here... This is a big rivalry game and I think the injuries to San Diego will prove to be too much. Everyone always says "look at who they've beat", or "look at who has beat them"... This is the NFL!! This season is a prime example of what a melting pot of talent the NFL has become. There are only a couple of teams this year that can be considered elite and their emergence has only been within the last couple of weeks... Neither one of these teams are "elite" in my book. (That's not to say there won't be any "Elite" players on the field)  

Both teams still have a shot at the playoffs and will be putting everything they have on the line. I definately don't see a blow out. I think San Diego wins this by no more than 7, but I wouldn't put it past the 49ers to win outright.

As confident as the majority on here is on the Chargers, I'm just as confident with the points and the 49ers.

for all those with g-men and ravens picks last mon. thank you. helped me to fight yet another day. i did like the 49ers at first glance as they have made a late season run in the past. two teams in need of a win i usually take the points and pray. i like picking winners as in the game winner being they usually cover also. i have ragged samuri mike all year and should stay on that bandwagon. bolts have the better def. and off. seems a no brainer with further consideration. chargers 34 - fourtyniners 17. besta luck wagerers

I dont know much,but the way I see it is Rivers has an injured recieving corp and San Frans defensive backs aint no slouches especially when they come to play and they finally have something to play for.The wide open NFC WEST title and a chance to finally make the playoffs again.

I made two seperate open plays buying points for just under a unit with both plays. I guess I am gonna play a little Parlay Poker and be patient and if it comes in Im good with out alot of RISK!

Chargers lost a bunch of games they should have won when healthy now they have some injuries and Mr Jackson aint 100%...I know RIVERS is having a year,but to do it with nothing!

Guess my deciding factor is "He's not TOM BRADY"!

lol, i know what you mean, but a sh*tty team to win a fifth time in eight games is 'surging'...for them at least.  They did come close to beating the Eagles and Saints, bot playoff contenders, but close is only good in horseshoes. I'll still take the points.  GL

Probably shouldn't do this because every single time I bet SD they don't do it, bet against 'em and they look like the 94 9ers so what can ya do. Both teams actually have shots at their divisions which is just a joke in itself when ya think this years SF team still has a shot at taking the West with a 7-9 record. Isn't it gonna be funny to think the 2nd place NFC South or East team will open the playoffs on the road against the NFC West winner... Anyhow fair warning to all laying the chalk here and don't be surprised if its 12-0 the wrong way before ya can even sit down which is usually the case when I bet the -- CHARGERS

SD is a far, far better team at every turn!!  I know that Cassell was out last week, but 31-0 and shutting down the best running team in the league!?!?!?  Wow.....look at the discrepancy at QB!!!  Look at the same with the defensive units!!!  Tolbert and the rookie now running the ball well.  The down field threats that SD has can kill an average or bad D if Phillip gets on a roll. 

I tried to play dogs like this one the last few weeks in the NFL, and they just aren't coming home.  This spread is were it is for a reason.  I'm pounding on SD tonight. GL!!!

Yes i know anything can happen big spread, sf might win division blah blah, sd main weaknesses have been special teams and defense against the run. ted ginn might hurt em a little bit but no frank gore means no running game.
