The Giants have a history or always hitting the under... That being said, the over is a virtual lock on MNF.  I am liking the over at 43, but I still have a bad taste in my mouth from week one when I took the over for the NYG vs Wash., and they scored 24 points in the 1st half then nothing in the 2nd.

    Nightridah,

In those road games, the Giants weren't favored by 9 either. They are 1-1 ats in two road games where they were favored by 8-10 points. the one win was against the Rams when they were team turmoil with a lame duck coach, and the other was last year in London against the Dolphins. It's easier to cover when getting instead of giving points. All that I am going to say is that the number is getting higher for the Giants, and this one is too high. It seems exploratory by the linesmakers. This is all I'm gonna say and then I will leave it alone. Cleveland hasn't been this big of a home dog since 2004.

drcomer I do give you credit for posting your picks and being confident in them but you don't have much cred when it comes to making money like you think you do.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You got your stars back. Good weekend man.

And I do give analysis on the game. I participate, and I call my shots.

And, by the way, thanks for posting the stats, but everybody knows this is "Play" money. I'll post my money plays on other sites, and in my playbook. I do make money.

Well, good job getting you status back.

By the way, anytime you're up for a little competition let me know. I'm sure I can out-cap you.

i agree zak, but the giants struggled with the bengals too, winning in overtime, but the difference is that the giants struggled against carson palmer and co. while the browns struggled against ryan fitzpatrick and co.  nonetheless, i love the giants - 8 tonight. i also bet on the adjusted spread giants - 14.5 at 48 to win 100.  i am a giants fan but i almost never bet on them, and never bet against them.  i think the over/under will be close, but i would lean over just like the average joe sixpack...

I like the 5-0 on the over because I am a trend guy, however, it has to stop at some point. Here is a play that no one is even mentioning. I am going to tease the total to 50.5 and take the Browns at +16. I am playing the Red Sox ( lock of the day), and I am going to play the Browns straight up, just because I got a weird feeling about this game tonight. The crowd will be nuts and while Stallworth might stump a toe and be out 4-6 weeks, he will provide some relief for Edwards and I love MNF home dogs!!

    Okay Night.

What's the combined record of the teams that the Giants have beaten is 6-16 straight up and the Browns 10-12 straight up. The spread is too high and it is not calibrated correctly for a moneyline of -345/+245. A 9 point spread should be -400/+300 at the least. The money is off 55 cents on the dollar both ways. A moneyline like this one should be accompanied with a spread of 7. With a moneyline of +245 and a spread of 9, I have to also take the Browns on the moneyline too. Where else but in wagering can you get $1000.00 for a stake of $350.88. I am going to try it out.

With all do respect, Watch, you were spouting the same type of questions on the Seattle game. When someone would state trends and past results, you would reply, "when did they beat Seattle by 7? when did they cover 7?" How did that turn out for you? The line is the line. And yes they very from game to game...we all know that. But trends are trends. NYG are 3-1 ats...no the spreads weren't -8 or 9, but they are that good and the oddsmakers have to adjust. Everyone that keeps doubting this team...keep doubting them. Otherwise, i would have to give up like 13 in this game.

Do not read to much in this one. Sometimes if it quacks like a duck its a damm duck. Giant -7 with a 1 point buy. Also the ML is way off -8 should be around -300 not -350. I would lean to the over here again but I really don't know how the hell the Browns break 10 on the scoreboard. Because of that I am not playing the total.GL

Very bad Sunday for me.  My suggestion = FADE my picks.

Or maybe I am do for a turnaround.

Took The Giants -8 and over 42.5.  I am sure Watch will be happy to be on the other side.  Although my brain says Cleveland and the under I am trying to fade myself.

Look how much damage politics and big business and shady real estate loans and lenders that won't lend because it is impossible to cover margins with all that is going on. Cars sit on lots. Can't afford one unless you wager or rap nowadays.

For whatever rap may have caused that was bad, it never efffected your pockets if you never chose to buy it. Rap was always a choice. Rap music didn't make it so that you ain't got no choice but to buy 4.00 gas and lose money on your stocks and 401K. I'd rather listen to Flava Flav than have my next door neighbor lose their house to forclosure and sever the ties they have with my children. Anyway what is Zappa, and what does he know about anyone's situation that he didn't have to study to know? I'm not into wine and cheese music. I like whiskey and Chuck Taylors.

    By design,

the Seattle game was a different situation. The road team was Seattle. The home team is the Browns, and thusly you can't compare the two. Nor can you only point to the Seattle game and ask "how'd that one work for me when my record isn't 100%, and neither is yours. All that I know is that the line went down to 8 on most books now. I got my at 9 this morning, so I know that there's reverse movement going on. I expected to be the minority on this game, and I'm sticking to my guns

Why not tease the Gmen to +1 and under 52.5 or over 34.5?
You have an 18 pt window on the total to play with.
I think this hits either way.

NAME REC YDS AVG LNG TD FUM LST
    Kellen Winslow 19 170 8.9 20 1 0 0
    Braylon Edwards 11 95 8.6 17 1 0 0

Kellen Winslow is out and he's the Brown's #1 receiver.  He almost doubles the number of receptions and yards compared to Braylon Edwards.  Steve Heiden will be in to prelace Winslow but he's used as a blocking TE rather than a receiver.  This will leave Edwards to be double covered more often.  Although Donte Stallworth is coming back, he hasn't played a game since the beginning of the season and who knows if he's 100% and the Patriots dropped him last season cause he wasn't producing how he should have been.  I'ma have to lean towards the Giants on this one.

Thoughts?  Sorry, I wish I had some valuable insight...just looking for some!  MBV

Vince, I like the ML plays also, the bad thing is they really hurt when you miss one and you've got to hit several to overcome what you lose after 1 miss.

I'd stick to college ball for big ML plays on the favorites, NFL is too crazy.  Having said this, Gmen probably have this game in hand by the half.
