CIN -4: I don't trust rookie Sanchez on the oad for his first playoff game. A different speed and a different world than last week, so I think Bengals win. The Bengals have a tendency of playing down to their competition and have had troubles this last month. With C. Benson returning and 85 hobbling, it'll be a different team than last week. I might pull the trigger hoping the line will dip to 3.

New York - 20                                     Cincinnati - 16

Jets +4                              under 45

Cincy is a pretty good bounce back team, but if the Jets could hold up defensively and Sanchez could avoid any costly mistakes they just might exit the Queen City with an upset "W".

I'll take the Jets +4 

This line won't budge either way... Cinci is really the play here, but you don't have to jump it right away.. 3.5 is a possibiity to happen.

I'll take the Jets+4.  Rex Ryan's team is all about ball control and defense.  Even if they lose, it should be a tight one as Cincy likes to grind it out too.

I'll take UNDER 45 as well.  These are 2 good defenses.  Cincy took the night off last night, but will come to play in this one.  Could be a 17-14 grinder.

cincy -4 is the play....I think and the reason why?..they had nothing to play for, Sunday..Got Stomp 37-0.....i don't think its gonna happen again At home IN cincy and  plus revenge might be a big factor too after a embrassing lost in NY Jets turf...Also Note Sanchez only had 85 yards passing..sanchez not a great passer, he had 20 interception and only like 12 tds...Plus its going to be a playoff atomsphere ...Totally differnt game.Jets is going into the game big headed cause they whopped cincy..But think again..cincy will be ready...Cause..Cincy has the blueprint of what to expect on Playoff game on their turf.. If they stop the Jet Run game and wildcat offense...Its totally over..Cause sanchez can't throw nada....Plus Benson will be back ready to romp and stomp to open up the passing game.Expect alot of play action from Cincy  to free 85, and trick the safety and corner, like revis...So,. If cincy is able to run it will open up the passing game for cincy........ So my predition:

I'am on the Bengals.

JETS fan here.... keep that in mind while reading my posts....

If you analyze the JETS losses..... you will see that all, except 2, were by 3-4-5 points..... those 2 were NE on the road, and NO on the road.....

now those are high-powered offenses.... and the JETS were very much in those game if not for Sanchez throwing INTs for scores...

 

The point I am trying to make is that IF the Jets lose, it is not going to be by more than 5 points.... and the reason I say that is because only 2 of their 7 losses have been by more and CINCY is not a high-powered offense...

 

now, putting week 17 aside..... the JETS have been playing their best football....

 

Cincy has been playing their worst football.....

 

I have the line at 2.5, that may be a little low so I was thinking about buying it to 4.5....

 

but this game is a great game to TEASE.... 2 team 6 point teaser, and throw in GB +8.5 and you have a pretty good shot im my opinion....

Jets +4 with a small play on the ML. Man I hate this team. BreakaBookie pretty much summed it all up for me. Right now the Jets are WazzUP while the Bengals are ish dont think so. Not to mention the Jets are just a tougher squad. I expect them to run over Cin again with Maualuga gone for the season.

a1...made some errors there, so I acknowledge that... Going to take the UNDER on this game.  a1, I track at 54% all picks (all of my picks/results are wagerline tracked)...  not a 'great' player, ..but the fade guy   Take a math math class..and quit spreading false venom.

 I am glad to see that there is still fire in the pit, and most of all the fire in Sanchez cause he knows what its like to be in big games. Rookie or not, this guy has taken the jets into the playoffs his first year in the NFL and that is huge, so for the doubt and coldfeet or lack of experience in big games, Sanchez is no tourist with a map in his hand but a local with local knowledge in these battlegrounds.

  If you followed his collegiate career in football, he has a tendency to show up big in big games. 2008 vs Penn State in their Bowl game Sanchez was almost flawless. That game was the deciding factor of why the Jets picked him up even though it was considered premature. Leaving NCAAF after his juniur year was a great move for him cause look at what happened to Sam Bradford of Oklahoma. He missed most of his last year of NCAAF due to a shoulder injury. That could have been anyone and it is unfortunate. I see Sanchez looking at this game as if it were a Bowl game through out the playoffs.

  Of coures Sanchez has not gotten this far by himself. The Jets are rated #1 defense and it is evident in every game. I expect a close game against Cincy being that Cincy is at home but I will have my money on the Jets. Cincy looked to unorganized to make it through the playoffs.

Dime on the money line for me.

 

         Oh well, it's time to take the rubber band off the 'ol bankroll. Tend to agree with Break a Bookie anaylsis here. Here's my "skinny" on this contest: Jets match up very well against the Bengals. I slightly disagree w/ Colonel Jim, whom says Cincy is a good bounce back - NOT!  As my extensive records indicate, if anything the're probably due for another "mild" beating. If anything ,when this time starts to lose- they continue! They have a poor cover record after allowing opp to score 30 and more, next game. As for the Jets, they continue to cover , whenever they rout their last opp. Jets are also very capable as road dogs. My PR see NYJ winning SU 4-6 points. Needless to say, when the clearly better team, (especially defensively) is getting the points- I'm on it!!

    Just wanted to add that I am seeing a substantial wager on the OVER here!

   Break A Bookie: Help me out here! I thought O/U is 34.5 not 45 on this game?  If it's the former , than I'm all over the OVER! If it's not- I'm really screwed!

jets +4 for me. the jets were able to move the ball successfully while limiting sanchez's role in doing same. shonn greene and brad smith coupled with jones all carried the load and managed to get it done on the ground. by the way greene looks nasty and smith as well. throw in a ferocious defense and forget it, lights out. i'm not going against the jets because of who they are. i'm not taking what might look like an obvious pick in cincinnati. imo i think the jets prevail and advance but, for them to go further they'll need sanchez to play a big time role at qb. expect the unexpected. i hope i'm right. gl to all. 

I like the Jets here but I can't see Cinci losing either. This is a pick and I rather play the O/U on this. Tough match and will have to lean on Cinci to win the game. Cinci hasn't been covering their spread for weeks and this will scare me if I pick the spread. Love the Over, GL!

the jets defense is #1 in the league, the jets running game is #1 in the league but I'm sure you guys know this but that is a damn good playoff formula.  Oh yeah and how is chad johnson 85 gonna score two td's.  No way not on revis island.  i'm leaning the jets for now

Taking the Jets ML.........forget the -2.5.........if they are going to win you might as well collect some extra dough. Not sure about the o/u.  I know last game was a blowout but field and Cincy's nonchalant attitude will cost the this game.  You have to believe Jets will be pumped for this game.........not feeling intensity with Bungles
