First off, HOWDY to danstyk, nhoveem and special thanks to BrassStones for the kind comments...but believe me, if Indy routes NO tonight, some of the rooks will be throwing my pick back into my face...LOL!...but that's cool...I call them like I see them...
Exercise extreme caution riding on ol' scorps shell, fellas...I am wrong A LOT...to really know what is going on, a man has to watch NFL Game Evaluation video and I simply do not have access to all of that anymore...so I do my best with the lousy TV copy after I tape the games...
Also - and let me VERY CLEAR about this - I am not a handicapper...I am a retired coach/scout who does this for fun and "therapy" (LOL)....frankly, I have never even been to Las Vegas...I do not understand money management (help me Dr. J) or half-time bets, total, props or "exotics"....I don't quite understand the fascination with trends that a lot of you have (no offense)..what I do understand is personnel, personnel packages and match-ups, X's and O's, coaching strategies and half-time adjustments...if you have ever blogged with me during a game, I can generally tell what plays are coming up for a particular offense against the defense they are facing and what strengths & vulnerabilites each team will face during the game (right TeaBag and blackjack?)...but that DOESN"T help me make money...I have had more losing weekends than I care to remember...
I will do my best to crunch it down...but I am far from perfect...but hopefully, we can all have a great season! Especially the ol' retired left guard and middle linebacker! (uh.....that would be ME!...LOL)!
