Agreed, they're like Jekyll and Hyde, or a box of chocolates. Maybe they play better now the pressure is off.  Newby QB looking great, and playing well too. ; )

Have to consider the angles more.

Not that Houston is very good now to begin with but here's another point. I know tanking isn't a popular idea but I'll point out Houston is in position for the #1 pick now in a good draft if they win more things get muddled.
Get that pick trade it away get more picks... with some quality rookies and all the players coming back from injury next season they could be next year's chiefs (only legit).
Still 5 games left so probably too early but all they're playing for is pride now, do they care? Playing the Jags is considerably less motivating than playing the big bad Patriots

Ugh - time to catch up on my reading, or early Christmas shopping..... Really? We can land a man on the moon, but we can't change the Thursday night primetime game mid season when we know this matchup will be crap????

I don't know, Texans by a FG I guess - they do still have the better defense, and "talent"........

I'm with West. Why force high ranked teams that are in playoff contention play on a short week? What kind of reward is that. Let's just let the Texans and Jaguars fans feel like they're playing in primetime.

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

......and I might be crazy, but I would think that the Seahawks/49ers (but Seattle just did play on Monday, so that wouldn't work) - O.K., Colts/Bengals would be a higher prime time dollar ring than this steaming pile or maybe even Dolphins/ Steelers? I don't know, I don't know how these things work - but they did change the Rodgers-less Packers/Giants game a few weeks ago, so obviously it can be done.....

Oh well - good luck all you degenerates, hopefully things fall into place for you with this one.....

Yet another garbage Thursday night game.  Worst one since the Bills and Browns met in October.

Will play Jags to win SU just because the I believe the Texans shot their wad last week in losing to the Pats.  Probably a small OVER play also, IMO bad teams tend to score a lot when they play each other.

Heard Keenum speak after his previous game vs the jags .... bottom line he wasnt himself it was his first game off being pulled for shaub .. he was nervous, gripping that ball to tight not making his progressions like we had seen in previous games...Keenum is a gamer ya the kid had a tough game but hes young its to be expected... I am of the opinion he has revenge on his mind and hes had time to review game tape from previous match two weeks ago but at the end of the day he just wasnt himself that game he admitted it.. tonight I think we see a different quarterback then we saw last matchup...Also like the fact Kubiak sees a defense he just saw two weeks ago he has a good offensive mind and ultimately I think Kubiak is a better coach then gus bradley and will present different game plan that will be more effective then previous matchup...And as bad as phillips is at calling that defense this jags offense is just bad...

lol @ houston laying points to a "supposedly" terrible Jacksonville team that has won 3 out of 4 of its last games SU/ATS only losing to a peaking AZ Cardinals squad at home, although I will admit it's a tough pill to swallow fading a 7 game home losing streak for the Jags, versus these Texans how can you not?

since Oct 15 Case Keenum has the 2nd worst QB completion rate (54.2%) among NFL starters and has thrown more INTs than TDs in the last 2 games with 169 passing yards (218 total) vs these same Jaguars. HOU Defense is ranked 27th in the league allowing 26.9 PPG

if you are betting on the Texans you are betting they are going turn it around in these key areas in the span of a week's time, seems like you should be getting a lot better odds than paying -110 to lay 3 points with this team

well put...my only concern is the short turnaround from sun to thurs and although i didnt watch much of the game it seems the texans left it all on the field vs the pats.  that being said, it is a battle to avoid the cellar of the afc south and i think kubiak should provide the better game plan...also jags are more likely to tank
