Call me a turncoat here. When the wager was going in for real I decided to play as a parlay with Indy-5 and Over-50 for Half unit to win 1.19 units.

HOU @ IND -5 O/U 51
28-23 hits the odds

Yes it is hard to beat the same team twice in the NFL but IND is injured. Normally the public overestimates the effect of injuries since often the next guy up is just as good but...

IND is losing D Clark, A Collie, and J Addai

In last gm vs WAS, those 3 accounted for 27 TAR and 18 receptions for 180 yds (65% of att,58% of passing yds)

Add in J Addai's 17 rushes for 128 yds and we are looking at 2nd string IND in key positions on both pass and rush offense
Also Addai's backup D Brown has hamstring so Mike Hart might start (down to 3rd string here)

Plus P Garcon and R Wayne have hamstring issues

This isn't the same IND team that played in HOU or even that played last week.

HOU's LT Duane Brown is back after 4gm susp. for ? (hcg) banned substance.(probably got bigger and stronger since he could only work out for 4 wks) He will help against IND's D Freeney

HOU loses LB D Ryans to Achilles

HOU is last in overall Def ranking at #32, IND #19
IND is #28 in def against the run HOU #5 in rush Off
HOU is last in Def against the pass IND is #2 in pass Off

Looks like IND will be able to pass and HOU will be able to run
Everyone is predicting shootout since they both score a bunch (27.2 and 25.5) and HOU allows the 5th most pts/gm (27.9)

For what it's worth, I gave out:

Indy -5, over 50'. 

I like to bounce my ideas off of a friend of mine, he's mildly autistic and pure of thought when it comes to stats.  I love to hear his opinions on my opinions.  We came up with a 31-24 Indy win, pulling away in the 4th qtr.

bet any other game but this one , becuase its too hard to call , but if you had to

I like indy at home -5.5 , Indy plays well on Monday night AT HOME  , Colts with revenge , and strong 4th quarter play

i know 10 out of 11 is the over on the hsitory , but 51 is too high give me the under .

buy the 7pt teaser , get Indy +1.5 and under 62 to be safe

lol the colts hold almost every play on offense, only seen it called once though on the most obvious hold i've ever seen. as far as the texans go... kubiak needs to be fired for not running the ball more in the first half, absolutely ridiculous
