I agree the Bears are vulnerable in places.  But I don't see it in this game.  Their defensive liability is against the pass.  And Carolina can't throw the damn ball.  Now especially with Steve Smith out who is by far their leading receiver (catches, yards, and TD's).   So when they can't throw it Carolina will try to pound it out...Bears give up 77 yards rushing / game.  The Panthers just don't match up well to exploit the Bears defense. 

Bears all day, even after that weak performance last week.  Carolina just doesn't match up well at all.  The under might be worth a look as I see both being conservative.  Yes even the Bears...to build confidence in line and keep QB healthy.

Cutler is out and Collins will start.  By the time everyone reads this it will be old news....much like the hooker in my trunk

Cutler or no this Bears squad should handle Carolina.  This Bears front seven is the real deal and very difficult to run on.  Carolina is going to be in a lot of third and long situations.  You are going to have Claussen throwing to young receivers all with Julius Peppers breathing down his neck in his return to Carolina.  And now you have to lay a point to get them?  No thanks.  
Collins should be able to manage this game just fine with what I figure to be good field position all day. 

Give me the Bears. 

Liking the Bears cuz I am thinking it comes down to field position and ST and I like Hester over all other returners.

I like Carolina in this game. They played well against the Saints and nearly won. Chicago peaked against Green Bay and will probably be on the decline the rest of the year. Their O-Line is the worst in the league. The panthers will get their first W tomorrow in front of the home crowd 27-13.
