You know, I heard a guy on sports radio who kind of had the same sentiment that I have about the issue. Yes, they technically have the right but it's not really the best way to go about protesting. I've always believed that the way you really win people over is with a strong argument that comes from a place of truth, which I do realize is kind of rare these days. However, Republicans have been such whiny girl about the whole thing, resembling that stupid snowflake remark I see about liberals all the time that I really can't take their side on it. If they were so tough, they'd quietly stop attending the games, buying merchandise and so on without even saying anything about it. They clearly are emotionally fragile based on the reactions I've seen.

Well, Trump is wrong because the owners aren't scared of the players. They're making tons of money off the players and they don't want to lose their assets by telling them not to express their feelings. I'm not sure professional sports falls into the same category as a typical workplace as well when they're playing games on a field in front of an audience. That's specifically why these athletes are doing it. They feel it's the best time to deliver the message, even though I do think kneeling during the anthem is kind of stupid.

The reasons the black numbers are so awful are cultural problems. They have nothing to with "systemic racism" or "institutional racism".
Black people are having way too many kids out of wedlock.

Asians are under represented in the police force. Asians are under represented in government. Asians have more success than any other race in this country.
I would like to know what systemic problems are there that are giving Asians such an advantage over other races.
THIS along with the other statistics I provided a few posts up is the argument against systemic racism in this country. People on the left can never argue it or even discuss it. They'll just skip right along and keep claiming that systemic racism is a major problem in this country. It isn't.

Being shot by the police doesnt mean its unjustified. Ive been stopped by the police many times and arrested 6-7 times and everytime i just put my hands where they can see and thats the end of it. You are more likely to be hit by a bus and die than killed by the police. More likely to be killed by bees. Its so funny when ppl start listing all the times an unjustified black man was killed and then u realize when you look at the facts of the case ie. mike brown you see that he should have been shot and killed. It really amazes me that this many people in 2017 where you have a phone at all times, cannot simply do some research turn off the tv and read for a while.
