    and a full AUTOMATIC riffle.

A .223 is not an automatic rifle.
    There was no automatic rifle.

We can stop with the hyperbole now.

The hyperbole is on both sides. Look, I'm not for any additional gun controls, except for a nationally linked data base and better background checks. But the bullshit on the right and left of this issue is as sickening as it is maddening. And enough with the rolling emoticons--20 children are dead, along with some very tremendous adults who attempted to save the lives of the kids in their charge. You make a mockery of the profound tragedy with your know-it-all attitude that reveals not a shred of human decency.

Here is a fact from the investigation that might take the roll out of your laughter. The coroner said most of the victims were hit mulitple times with bullets from the Bushmaster, not at close range. A CNN report said the police timeline indicates that the victims were all shot within a two-to-three minute span before the gunman took his own life. It doesn't really matter if it was a full automatic or semi-automatic. the damage to those innocent people their families and this nation happened in less time than it takes you to write your assanine posts.

How many times have I said...
How many times have you heard...

If you want to kill someone you will find a way.
If you want to kill a large group of people you will find a way.

    Oklahoma City: ZERO shots fired
    9/11: ZERO shots fired.

This was a tragedy and having access to guns may have been the catalyst but if he was willing to take the time and wanted to learn how to use explosives he could have blown up the entire school.

Yea, why don't you tell us when is the right time.  There's someone shot dead in our country every friggin day.    Talking about gun control without mentioning the carnage is like discussing cancer while ignoring the tumor.

Papadarla..  they are self centered people. Simple as that..It's not about the constitution. As I mentioned. The only way they will understand is when it hits home, when it hurts them,, like losing one of their children or family member. Then they'll cry and say.. Why  didn't I listen ?

It doesn't really matter if it was a full automatic or semi-automatic

    -----------

    Actually, yes it does.

Legally owned automatic weapons have been used in two homicides out of tens of thousands that have occurred since 1934. No mass shooting since then has involved an automatic weapon.

Of course he was obsessed with violent video games. Was there really any other alternative influence?  The news of this fact is already being released but will probably be blindsided by the liberal media who need to protect their Hollywood brethren from culpability while the 2nd Amendment stands trial for a boy's evil acts which were embedded into his fragile brain by technology as it stands today.

However a huge shout out to actor/comedian Jamie Foxx who  publicly admitted that Hollywood style violence "has to have an influence/impact on people. It does."
