Good internet access - a necessity these days - at risk BECAUSE OF republicans in congress playing political games, potentially causing millions of Americans to suffer.

This seems to be a common theme as well: the connectivity between republicans in congress and millions suffering.

If republicans are serious about fixing immigration system, they should support bipartisan legislation killed by them. They should support Mayorkas instead of wasting time on political stunts.

Allowing up to 5,000 unvetted illegal aliens a day was a terrible idea and I think all are relieved it was not passed. It should be allowing ZERO illegal aliens a day. Even the legal migrants agree with this as they had to wait and come in the correct way. This is the reason why many are turning to Trump as he had a handle on the border.

We will have the Biden migrant crime issues with us for decades and long after he is gone. Director Wray just said last Thursday that he fears a small group or cell could do great harm inside the US.

 They aren't.   They only want to stop immigration from "shithole countries" (non-white majorities) like trump told them.  trump likes white people from Norway , Sweden, Denmark though, according to HIS comments.  And apparently the whites who speak English but are in this country illegally, are also ok, since they never make any mention of that 40% - 50% of the undocumented problem

And because they killed the bipartisan border reform bill they asked for themselves,  now they own the problem!

Politifact debunks claim that senate bill would allow 5000 illegal immigrants into the US.  Actually, bill gives Homeland security emergency authority to shut down border if there are 5000 border encounters a day.  Encounters track the number of times border officials stop people trying to enter US.  Not the number of people who are released into the US.  House republicans reject border security that they demanded in bipartisan bill.

Obamacare is more popular than ever.  However if Trump is re-elected, he would try again to repeal or sabotage the affordable care act.  Loss of subsidies would increase healthcare insurance premiums and millions of people could lose coverage.

MAGA republicans want to ban no fault divorce laws.  They support a return to the bad old days when abusive husbands could rely on difficulty of obtaining a divorce to trap wives in terrible marriages.  This would be unpopular because all 50 states have laws allowing easy divorce.  As a result, domestic violence and suicide rates are lower for women.   Millions have escaped intolerable marriages to pursue better lives.

House republican budget calls for cuts to social security safety net.  Raising retirement age, lowering cost of living adjustment and changing the way benefits are calculated.  Limiting payroll taxes paid by high income earners to fund system.  Also transition to privatization scheme replacing federally guaranteed benefits available to millions of people with a volatile investment account with no protection against economic downturns or other risk factors.

At NRA rally, Trump says he would rollback gun safety from bipartisan gun bill if he is re-elected.  He wants to repeal background checks, weaken laws against gun trafficking, allow gun show loophole and make it easier for kids to get guns.  This is an insane policy position.  Enabling the killing of more people to make more profits for gun industry.

Proving that trump is an asshole, unworthy of serving as President.
