    You need to find articles from 2014 like this to find anything with any truth. Since then it’s all western propaganda.

    @BigGame90

     Think we discussed this already right?

    The move is a combination of speculation and the Russian supply being potentially crimped, but mostly speculation on futures contracts.

     No question but in reality both sides in this forum act like children in various ways, if things get too much worse they might close this area down.

    @philschnaars

     Ukraine is a strategic partner & their young democracy is supported by our country. A strong democratic Ukraine is of great importance to the US & other European allies.

    Do a little research & you'll better understand why their independence is so important.

    Starting a war is very easy but ending it is much much harder.

    I doubt Putin will take one in the noggin for the team. He's not a team player kind of guy.

    Thinking back, Zelensky is the leader who Trump tried to extort & 52 Republican Senators didn't care & let him get away with it. History will not be kind to these cowards.

    Omg “do a little research”.

    You didn’t understand how SA has the US over a barrel 10 minutes ago but now you have full comprehension of why their “independence” aka controlled by the west — is so important.

    Ok.

    Everytime I do research I find the former president was illegally forced out, a white supremist neo- nazi Battalion worked hand in hand with the government and military fighting those who favored Russia. When Zenlensky's popularity dropped below 40% he shutdown opposition media.

    That's a democracy???

    Russia vs Ukraine — bad. Must not buy oil.

    Saudi vs Yemen — nbd. Please give oil.

    Can someone here explain?

    That’s the power of propaganda.

    Should Joe Biden buy oil from countries that kill people for being gay?

    Will the LGBTQ groups protest Joe Biden?

    Why not?

    Please explain.

    That’s the power of propaganda.

    @wallstreetcappers

     Speculation aside becuase that's just playing the market and everyone knows the market has no direct correlation to prices considering most of the market is leveraged to the max and we all know what overleverage does to a market. If a 20-25% jump in gas was directly related to losing ~3% of imported Russian oil, what would happen when the US loses 5-20% of US oil production by shutting down production?

    Gas prices were low because oil got crushed from oversupply, from excess credit and speculation. Then what happened? Shale/frackers went under, big OG cut R&D and slashed fringe production, THEN what happened...

    Oh my word this is so silly...

    Good point.  Many factors, and the president is one of the least of them, but that won't matter in the political blame game

    Russian economy will take a hit, and Russian citizens will feel the heat from what Putin has made a huge mistake by invading Ukraine and killing many innocent Ukrainians, many of them are children, elderlies and women.

    So just in the last 24 hours:

    -UAE / Saudi allies won’t speak to Biden, but they’re taking calls from Putin

    -Biden negotiators offer to lift IRGC FTO as it plots to assassinate former NSA

    -Biden begs Venezuela for oil

    -Biden halts Polish MiG-29 transfer to Ukraine because it would upset Russia

    New York Times:

    “Russian restaurants in New York City are being hit by cancellations, social media campaigns and bad reviews online after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, despite most owners being openly antiwar and many coming from Ukraine.”

    Liberals are the most hateful people in modern history.

    Please invest 5 minutes to see what Joe Biden was saying about Saudi Arabia during his election campaign. When you treat people bad when you don’t need them, do not expect they will treat you well when you need them.

    Liberals don’t even understand the basic rules of life anymore.

    Sad!

    Ilhan Omar:

    “The consequences of flooding Ukraine with billion dollars in US weapons, likely not limited to just military-specific equipment but also including small arms + ammo, are unpredictable & likely disastrous.

    Specially when they are given to paramilitary groups w/out accountability.”

    What could possibly go wrong? Let’s go Brandon!

    Two week old article. Give it a read and educate yourselves. The knowledge most of you have on this subject is embarrassing.

    “Saudi Arabia is working with Russia to drive up gas prices, worsening the Ukraine crisis. The partnership dates back to 2015 when MBS opted to meet with Putin after Obama declined to meet with him, sources tell me:”

    Ukraine has "biological research facilities," says Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland, when asked by Sen Rubio if Ukraine has biological or chemical weapons, and says she's worried Russia may get them. But she says she's 100% sure if there's a biological attack, it's Russia.
