Yea, I don't get the whole Trump said this during his speech on Jan 6...he never said anything to incite violence or promote violence in his speech...the build up to that day in claiming the election was stolen is another issue and most likely had more to do with the situation than anything, but nothing that was said on that day, no...in fact, if I recall correctly, they had video footage of some of those clowns leaving early from Trump's speech before he even said anything about marching down to the Capitol...I think it was the guy in the viking garb and a few others that were spotted inside who left his rally early....

 

Keep in mind that Trump called for National Guard that day days before the rally...it was ignored and most importantly it was ignored by the Mayor of DC....not sure why there is not more fallout from this guy who should have taken our paid National Guard and allowed them to be deployed for the just in case....I'll bet that the insurrection never happens if that happened...as a result, the Mayor of DC should be more to blame than anyone else....preventative measures leading up to that day would have been the smartest thing to do...clearly the Mayor of DC should have blow back on this but for some reason he is not...kind of baffling to me sine the temperment leading up that day was very high...

In a meeting not even related to the matter, the CONVICTED FELON who incited the riot, did make a related remark in an "offhanded manner" that he suggested they were going to need 10k troops.... Not a request let alone a formal call. Nope! He merely suggested that. And it is NOT the same (or even close!) to trump requesting/asking the proper authorities for 10k troops. Washington Post gave him 4 Pinocchio's for that yarn...

Defense department record shows that DC mayor requested up to 340 national guard troops for traffic control before January 6.  Investigations found no evidence Trump offered national guard troops to protect capitol.  Instead Pence ordered the national guard.

To deflect blame, Trump accuses DC mayor Bowser and Pelosi of rejecting offers of National guard troops.  But politifact rates false the claim January 6 committee suppressed evidence that Trump pushed for national guard to protect capitol.  Bowser was no more in charge of the security of capitol than Pelosi.  They have no power over national guard or president and cannot deny national guard if Trump ordered it.  Capitol police board is more responsible for security.  

Normally, most protesters are peaceful and capitol security is adequate because there has been no attack in decades.  Key difference is Trump is a threat to democracy.  Bowser and Polosi blame him for inciting the attack because of his big lie about stolen election.  He didn't order national guard before and during attack  despite people begging him.  He was impeached in congress and indicted on charges by justice department.

Heres another national guard story he has lied about.  He says he deployed the guard in minnesota when it was the governor that did it, but the magas dont care about the truth.  They only believe what the career carnival con artist says.  Cant wait to see the magas here try to spin this one also
