These psycho wannabee bar bouncers are getting minimum  49k + OT & higher wages in different locales. Newsweek (I can hear it now...he's quoting freaking Newsweek) reports current agents receive a 10K bonus & will receive that bonus for the next 3 years.

These fuckers aren't trained officers. Their 1st option is violence. That's not going to work anywhere in this country.

Overspending on ICE is diverting FBI, police and other officers from investigations and law enforcement against serious crimes.  However experts doubt US crime rates would decline much because most crimes are committed by US citizens.  Not immigrants.   Mass deportation is expected to weaken economic growth because immigration is generally positive for US economy.  Also anti-immigration policies are hurting tourism industry.

ICE and national guards are becoming a secret police force under Trump administration.  They meet most of the criteria for secret police in authoritarian regimes.  Direct control by dictator loyalists.  Identify of members are secret.  Surveillance capability.  Unlawful policing.

YouGov poll found that democrats are far more likely than republicans to trust news in general.  Republicans tend to watch less news from fewer outlets especially Fox news.  In contrast, democrats watch more news from variety of different outlets.  There are 3 times more liberal news outlets than conservative ones.  But the most trustworthy outlets are liberal while the least trustworthy are conservative.

Federal judge has dismissed justice department criminal cases against Comey and James because Halligan is not eligible to be prosecutor.  Normally, justice department does not prosecute  frivolously unless there is a good chance of winning.  However Trump has appointed loyalists to punish political enemies.  Unlike other administrations, his illegal orders often lose in vast majority of cases in lower courts.
